@Krayos13: the names aren't supposed to evoke race horses, they ARE the names of racehoarses. Each of them has the name a specific Japanese racehorse, and even mimicked that horse's racing career.

@Krayos13 Almost every race in the show was also based on an actual historical race, including the joke "Eating Contest," with the results, placements, and events mirroring those of the real life one they are re-enacting.

They even get specific things like the race, circumstances, and camera footage of Silence breaking her leg mid race almost 1:1 with the real life event.

The only difference is Horse Girl Silence was rescued and didn't have to be put down immediately like her IRL counterpart did which was actually quite the twist for anybody who did their research before hand.

It's a common trope that vampires have trouble holding back around their lovers and regret it. Pink jacket girl totally accepted it tho.
