I actually was looking forward to this chapter because it's so good! Seki is such a good friend and I love that Fujikawa is a realistically flawed asshole teenager. And the foreshadowing from chapter 49 paid off; turns out the flirty character archetype has had recurring nightmares for a while.

Nice catch, I didn't notice it at all because of the digital raws. You're right, it's mostly 弾いて accompanied by stuff like あの曲もう一度聞かせて. Basically the text on the guitar means "play it (the guitar), play it, let me hear that song once again".

These two chapters had some great facial expressions, and Murakami's social anxiety is just as relatable as this season's Hitori Bocchi.

I dunno why, but Kuroba seems to be on a roll recently -- the absurdity has been through the roof, and I've been cracking up throughout most of the latest couple chapters. :D

This bonus arc is one of my favorite parts of the manga. It's moving, full of character development, and also sometimes funny, like the sequence on the left side of this page.
Teru is a fascinating character and more focus on her is always welcome.

Shii makes an amazing face on the first page.

The anime OVA takes place after this arc, and I highly recommend it. It has nice banter and character moments, and it features possibly one of the most chill coming out scenes ever.

Don't forget Haa-chan defusing the situation by casually talking Nono out of social conformism and into independent thinking. Turned into an unexpectedly all-around educational day for kouhai-chan didn't it? :P

A couple years ago I bought a doujin for this series with the premise that two characters paired up for a side project and shippy stuff ensued. At the time I thought, this would never happen in canon. Especially with Tamaki; she needs a revolving door of characters to have subtext with. And then the actual manga went and did this. Is this where the ship wars start?
