The story is unbelievably mediocre, the eight characters’ stories happen completely independent of each other with zero interaction despite them traveling together, and the four per structure of each character’s story just means the momentum is killed every time by having to spend 10 hours doing other stories. The dialogue rarely ascends above trite, and gets very, very bad at times.
The gameplay mechanics are innovative, intricate, and amazingly well-designed, the graphics are interesting, and the music is really good. Not a game to play for plot, but solid everywhere else.
