A very good interpretation of the Battle of Britain if you ask me.

From what I've seen at least, in general CCC fanart is the most common, at least for the main pairings. That game was after all 90% fanservice (not just the sexy kind) and relationship stuff. In the West it's limited of course for obvious reasons, but Japanese artists really go ham on the CCC stuff and outfits. That's where the Nero bride and Tamamo sweater craze began after all.

Nah, at most I remember that being a thing for a bit after CCC came out, but ever since more contemporary fate works like Fate GO or Fate Extella came out, people've moved on. Even the picture above is leaning more on Fate GO with that ascension outfit. Even CCC original characters had more relevance thanks to Fate GO rather than their source material. Fate GO as an entity just immensely dwarfs everything else. Also in terms of relationship Extella was noticeably more fanservice, considering they were essentially at the honeymoon stage of their relationship at that point of the story.

The true best is Hifumin x Aoba, but all those ships are great too.

Well Extella is more or less a sequel to Extra/CCC anyway, so one might call that an extension.
F/GO sure is the worst.

^Honestly Hifumi and Aoba barely have any interactions in the manga for a really long time now. There barely was a spark between them anyway in my opinion. So calling it the "best" compared to all those more subtexty pairings (and the canon Rin x Kou one) is bold. I admire your enthusiasm!

I've only watched the first half, but most of the subtext up to that point comes from these two playing out Takarazuka roles, where the star who everyone wants to be plays all masculine roles while they have a "consort" who normally plays very feminine roles opposite them.

The one pretty clear lesbian character in the series, who's got a huge, possessive crush on the main character, is largely played for laughs and doesn't get any reciprocation at all.

Ahh nier one of the few games that has the ceo of dev house directly adress the player in a series they technically dont own thus burning the cannon in a spin off of a spin off of a mindfuck of a game series. Fucking square and platinum a crossover destined to be confuseing.

^I don't like crushing dreams, so I won't object too harshly. It's just that it really was never even strong subtext and it has been neglected more than anything else in the manga. Aoba has more chemistry with Nene, Hotaru and Momiji right about now... (and that's sad, cuz they got their own pairings)

You guys don't realize how superior Kou x Aoba is.

^The only reason I didn't mention this one (even though strangely enough this has the strongest chemistry of any Aoba pairing) is that Kou x Rin is canon. Any claim to the contrary is just asking for the death penalty.

I find it funny how like 50% of the pictures here are just recreations of scenes in the manga XD

Seasons 1-5 are still streaming on Hulu. There are subs for all the seasons, and dubs going to season 2. I don't think they have any of the movies or specials, though.
I'd suggest the subs, and not just because I prefer the original voices. There's less censoring there too, if I remember right.

(Ami+Mako has always been my favorite ship, and I love the big black ballgown with the giant rose <3 )

It's probably heresy of some sort, but I think Makoto x Ami is an even better ship than the canon Haruka x Michiru. Which I guess makes sense, since Mako-chan was always my favourite of the Senshi to start with, and the way the outers were required by the story to be much more distant than the main cast, so I didn't get quite so attached.
