^Honestly Hifumi and Aoba barely have any interactions in the manga for a really long time now. There barely was a spark between them anyway in my opinion. So calling it the "best" compared to all those more subtexty pairings (and the canon Rin x Kou one) is bold. I admire your enthusiasm!

^I don't like crushing dreams, so I won't object too harshly. It's just that it really was never even strong subtext and it has been neglected more than anything else in the manga. Aoba has more chemistry with Nene, Hotaru and Momiji right about now... (and that's sad, cuz they got their own pairings)

^The only reason I didn't mention this one (even though strangely enough this has the strongest chemistry of any Aoba pairing) is that Kou x Rin is canon. Any claim to the contrary is just asking for the death penalty.

We definitely need more of this ship. The "softening" of Umiko by her interaction with nene was amazing, flawless. I love how they both "granted" things to each other... Nene playing soldier on the street (sniper) and Umiko taking the spoon of ice cream.

I wanted Aoba x Nene first, and maybe Hazuki x Umiko then Nene could go on to Nene x Umiko and Aoba could go on to Aoba x Kou and Aoba x Momo before settling down with Aoba x Hifumi and Kou x Rin and Hajime x Yun. What I'm saying is, if I directed New Game, it would be a fine addition to "Otaku O'clock" Season finale of last episode would be Everyone x Everyone so they could blow off steam.
