That's probably just the extent of their relationship so far. Without the team they'd have no excuse to meet without going out of their way. Some kind of delicate balance not to be rejected as intrusive or annoying even without a confession. The older girl may not be at the school much anymore either, and the younger may not have her contact or home address. It turned out well, though, so it was a nice read.

Well, they're on different school terms, and the softball club is probably the only place they regularly meet at. Plus, being in senior year means Mari'd have to dedicate a lot of her time to studying for college exams and spend very little time going out with friends.

It's not that they can't see each other again, but their daily (three-times-a-weekly?) routine of meeting each other in club was bound to end, and they'd probably drift apart afterwards.

First and foremost you might wanna check Lynn Gunn, singer and songwriter for Pvris. Alternative music, style varies a bit.

Then I can also recommend her ex, Alexa San Roman, singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist. Her first band is Love, Robot (comma included, pronounced "love comma robot"), punk rock (you might wanna skip their first album). Her current project is Heirsound, style varies a lot, but with strong pop influences.

Halsey is a relatively famous bisexual singer and songwriter. Alternative pop. Her second album has openly gay lyrics on a couple of songs.

Phoenix Arn-Horn is drummer and singer for pop-punk band Courage My Love. Her identical twin sister Mercedes (which is straight) is lead singer in the band (very fun trying to guess who's singing each line of their songs, since they have pretty much the same voice).

Tonight Alive lead singer and songwriter Jenna McDougall doesn't talk much about her sexuality, but has twitted that she likes girls and also wrote this very gay song called "The Other Side" so we all know she's bi. Earlier songs are pop punk, newer releases are mostly alternative. Check their latest album, it's quite good.

You might have noticed most of the artists I named are either punk or alternative, those are my favorite styles. But it's good to have eclectic tastes, you get to enjoy a bit of everything (which reminds me... another artist I forgot to mention before, and one you probably already know, is Tracy Chapman).

Your time zone is about five hours away from mine... So I'm assuming somewhere in middle/eastern Europe? Or Africa?
