ehhh, I prefer solution to deterrence.
hlama hahaha! something like "contraception not abstinence"? XDDDD
yoonie and I were discussing earlier Seju's whereabouts.. from her clothing (a sleeveless cropped shirt) is so casual for her normal office appearance. It suggests that Seju didn't go to work that day.. and also, where was she at night? it seems like she was not home when Sungji arrived given Sumin's low measures towards having sex with Sungji.
My guess is Seju went to work, that was how Sumin was able to reach her for lunch, team leader invited her for dinner. She was about to tell Sumin but was cut off.

Absolutely. Think about it, contraception is a human innovation. What is abstinence? Just doing nothing.
team leader invited her for dinner. She was about to tell Sumin but was cut off.
Oooohhh! Yes I think this was the case!
What is abstinence? Just doing nothing.
Hahahaha! And the devil finds work for idle hands XDDDD

What if the new team leader ask seju for lunch? *the cut off talk
And sungji is lying about the team leader buying her lunch to test whether sumin will end up ask seju if she turned down. Or at least how sumin react if she turned her down once in a while.
What I see on several chapter lately is sungji like to tease sumin and make her jealous with the " team leader approaching her scenario."
After the cheating, Sungji becomes more playful and cunning. She is wondering everything and ask about a lot of important matter.
Eg. Why sumin likes her? (ans: because a beauty like sungji can love someone like sumin)
How much does she still care about seju? (ans: she still cares a lot)
Can she break the bonds between sumin and seju? (ans: it's difficult)
Does sumin still like seju too, despite like sungji? (complicated, sumin say that sometimes she hates seju but one thing for sure she can't let anything bad happened to seju since she will feel regretful and blame herself)
Why does sungji like sumin? (ans: sumin is her type, she grooms sungji well with a lot of fun classy date eg. went to beach trip, eating in fancy restaurant, driving her with sports car, etc)
Do I feel kind of relief and relaxing feeling when I am with sumin? (compare to when still date dawoon) ans: no.

Sumin would learn (the hard way) that there's value in giving people the benefit of the doubt and to just trust. That alone would save them 10 years of grief. The question is, would Sungji?
Judging from Sungji's too good to be true nature, she might give the benefit of the doubt to Sumin and believe her one more time then teamblonde happily ever after, lollllll
Just joking, isnt Sungji keeping do that for the whole series? She keeps giving Sumin the benefit of the doubt with letting Seju live in the house, forgive her after cheating and many many more XDDDD. The only thing I really want to see is her limit, what is her limit till she stops thinking that Sumin is worth giving that much and think for herself, lol but well, Seju and Sungji are one of a kind when it comes to love so they might be stupid together to love Sumin blindly, lolll.
hlama
Interesting... I think Sumin will chase after Sungji, nothing to do with Seju's situation vs Sungji's, it's just the logical and right thing to do. If Sumin does not chase after her, Sungji will assume the worst. Besides, Sumin has a legit reason in this case although a hard one to explain.
This scenario is different from Seju's one because of many reasons so honestly I think Sumin wont chase after her but might go to her house right after that and beg for forgiveness, means she lets Sungji go home then she goes to Sungji's house right after xD. If this goes this way then we wont have a conversation between Seju and Sungji next chap(big disappointment xDDDD)
My guess is Seju went to work, that was how Sumin was able to reach her for lunch, team leader invited her for dinner. She was about to tell Sumin but was cut off.
Honestly, about the lunch thing, I believe that person invited them all, included Seju but she declined because of Sumin's invitation, I think Seju was about to say that the new TL treated all of them lunch but she didnt go, lollllll. Should be logic that you invite everyone, include your boss, how can you leave your boss out of this?

Would be totally joy for Seju haters if Seju is behind the plan of making the new team leader to go after Sungji, lolllllllllllll.

I thought dinner was more exciting then group lunch hehehe, and it would explain Seju's whereabout. How can you leave your boss out? Hm, depends on how reachable the boss is. Seju seems distant (and very high up, the CEO! drool), separate office and all. And personally, I would rather have a 1 on 1 with my boss, more intimate and focus, the image I want to convey in front of my subordinates may not be the image I want to present to my boss.

Based on Sungji's track record, people generally don't need to be encouraged to go after Sungji, they'll do it of their own accord XDDD

Ah Sungji really can do with being a little more self-serving..=.=

To be honest, judging from chap 1, Seju seems not to be too distant to her employees at a party, they welcome her with joy and friendliness. As I see in wdtfs, it seems people are more nervous when you are on a 1-1 meal course with your boss( for example, the lunch when Seju ate with Sungji because no one will eat with her), but they're more at ease with parties together with bunch of people (chap 1), so I personally think Seju did get invited to have lunch together, just that she has the right to say no cause I'm the boss, babeeeeeeee, lolll
Sumin stayed with Seju for the night with good intentions. She cares about her and she had the same experience so she knows how bad it can be. I'ts just so unfortunate that she forgot the damn pillow. And maybe she didn't expect sungji to come when she started her day. She didn't expect the series of events that led Sungji over.
Seju on the other hand, after so many times of being accused of something, i hope she will be the bigger person on this one.
I personally think TLeader invited everyone including seju but well, Sumin will always be her top priority. No questions about that. There might be a glimpse on where seju can see through sumin about the purpose of that lunch.
Sumin, no matter what her intentions were, wether to dig information about the Tleader, unconsciously went back to her routine of coming back to seju after being stood up.
I don't understand yet why sumin's thoughts and what comes out of her mouth are different though she really cares about sungji. Or maybe she just want to exagerrate a little and wants to be comforted and we're overanalyzing.
Since morning, Sumin has been a little down starting with the discovery of the scarf and did some self reflection about her actions hehe. A lot of possibilities can happen next but thus is again my ridiculous prediction.
Seju is just uptairs and finds sumin in that state. Sumin might get angry with her or break down on her shoulders. And sumin who is emotionally down and frustrated will jump at seju considering sumin takes her emotions in bed. XD
Seju on the other hand, after so many times of being accused of something, i hope she will be the bigger person on this one.
When was she ever a smaller person? xDDDDD Do you know her cup size? XDDDDD just joking
Anyway, Seju wont do anything stupid now, dont worry xDDDD. She's smart and witty and for sure she is not that stupid to do sth that makes Sumin hate her more.
You might not notice but Seju never lies(..yet xDDD), she might threatened Sungji, tricked Sumin, etc.... or sth but she never lies, what she said is the truth and she doesnt push Sumin into the position where she has to go back to her xDDD. Just that she did use that truth to make Sungji feel insecure.
So no, I dont worry about Seju's answers if Sungji questioned her but I do expect her witty and playful way for answering to make Sungji annoyed, lollllllll
Sumin, no matter what her intentions were, wether to dig information about the Tleader, unconsciously went back to her routine of coming back to seju after being stood up.
I agree that this chap seems to open a gate of some past routine of going back to Seju when she got problems with her current gf xDDDD.
After all, Seju has always been Sumin's safety net. The one who wont reject her xDDD.

Sumin is an insecure person by nature. The author is describing her to be back to the childish, insecure, low self-esteem personality she used to have when she was with Seju, basically the SuminxSungji's relationship is on the path that SejuxSumin's relationship was on in the past. Question is: will they overcome it? If they do, they're endgame and I'll be the winner xDDD
Sumin is back to who she was in the past. Self-questioning. That's the interesting thing xDDDDD

No, Sumin is very considerate and careful around Seju lately. She cares for Seju a lot. The fact that she totally freely did everything to Sungji, even goes to sex => that means Seju is not at home at the moment. So where is she now?
Overall, I still patiently wait for the final drama, pretty slow till the day for the ending xDDDDD.

You're right. That is what's endearing about her

There is a bit of a role reversal here though. In the past, it was Sumin who needed to take the leap of faith..to trust that Seju didn't do her wrong despite what she saw. In the now, it was Sungji who needed to do this. So now Sumin has been in both positions (if bartender/hypothermia theory holds anyway -because if not then the cheating did happen and the trust was meant to be broken ) and ironically..while she may finally be in a better position to understand where people are coming from sometimes, the ball is no longer in her court..(whether or not Sungji trusts her is out of her hand)
I may be biased (clearly XD) but I honestly believe that whatever is the outcome/her decision, Sungji would make a wiser move than Sumin did in the past. If Sungji goes the Sumin route and enters her own decade-long cycle of hatred...(which I don't think will happen) that will certainly bring a whole new meaning to the saying "what goes around comes around" LOL

Uhmm D?? Honestly, its HUUGGEEE!

Then another one on one talk between seju and sungji is inevitable and it better be soon.

Honestly though, seju knows something is bothering sumin and she can see through it. For a moment there, i thought she was having fun describing the tleader.

Well i have to agree with you on this. IF sumin and sungji will overcome both their insecurities, which sungji is having a LOT lately, then i can back you up as the winner. XD
Sumin is back to who she was in the past. Self-questioning. That's the interesting thing xDDDDD
I hope this self realization of hers will be shown more and be honest with her deeper feelings once and for all so that we can determine the winner once and for all. XD
What im looking forward though is Sungji's reaction of the situation. How is she going to handle it.

She couldn't be out by herself because of the danger outside. She could still be at work but Sungji is already off at work so maybe not. I'd still say she's uptairs.
I'll be in nora mode for a little, is it this time for sumin's bday? End of autumn?Last week sumin's bday was shown in gajis twitter. So seju might be out getting a present for sumin.. Hehehe

Sumin is an impulsive person and her emotions always gets the better of her but I don't think she'll crawl back to Seju for sex. I mean she is more self aware towards her actions, it's a pity though that TG has only started using internal monologue because the characters would have been more relatable if it was implemented in the manga a long time ago.
Sungji is showing her lack of trust to Sumin lol she already jumped into a conclusion without even hearing Sumin's explanation. if TeamBlonde can't fix their trust issues with each other then this is gonna be a ongoing problem that will rip them apart. (if it's in the real world)
hlama
didn't Sungji got tipsy drinking wine after she saw how playful Seju and Sumin has become with each other? which only shows that Sungji is only human (thankfully) and she's fully capable of being careless without thinking of the consequences. besides, she did try to forget Sumin by agreeing to hook up with Dawoon even though she doesn't hold any romantic feelings for her.
TG is making a big fuss about making mistakes, so it will probably play a big part in the upcoming chapters and maybe Sumin will realize that it's not how you make a mistake but how you make up for it and maybe she can finally talk to Seju about what happened 10 years ago and forgive her. so both of them can move on with their lives because what happened in the past is still affecting and hunting them up until now.

Sungji will face the problem different from Sumin, that's for sure =)))). She is your bias for a reason, you know xDDDDD.
And btw, worst scenario, she wont enter 10 years torturing herself like Sumin did, lolll, unless her brother suddenly gets into accident while Sumin goes back to sleep with Seju the next day xDDDDD. From scale 1 to 10, how much possible could that happen? XDDDD
roamsl

1.If she is upstairs, Sumin wont be that free around Sungji. A little cautious, that's for sure xD. Hmmm, I'm thinking she is either at the main house or work overtime. Her employees come home but it doesnt mean she has done with her own work. Thing is, I believe Sungji also knows where Seju is and where to find her or how to find her xD
2.Sumin's birthday is in July, they just passed Seju's birthday a few days, so they're in November month in manhwa time xD
Seju and Sumin already had the kind of talk you think they needed long ago, in chap 62(?) or something, when they really broke it off for real. And Sumin has already forgiven Seju since long ago. What they need right now is no longer forgiveness or sth like that. They have gone past that.
its not both of them can not move on from their past, its Seju's choice to not forget the past. Sumin has already wanted to move on from the past long ago while Seju chose not to forget their memories and love. Its Seju's choice now for why they're still here, stay like this with each other. Its no longer about the past hunting them or hung up on it, its a choice that has been made, that Seju doesnt want to move on, doesnt want to love anyone else and hold on to memories till the end of her life. Forgiveness or sth like that from Sumin wont effect her decision. She will be around and that's her choice.
^
And Sumin allowed her, them to stay together despite all the right and wrong reasons. The situation now is the result of both their choices.
Question is, when is Sumin going to stop it. Or if she ever will.

if Sumin had already forgiven Seju a long time ago, then their ten years of toxic relationship would have never happened in the first place. in my opinion, they never had a closure regarding that issue instead they never talk about it and it is the reason why Sumin always brings it out every time she gets angry with Seju. well, mainly because the pain of betrayal is still in there.
though I agree that it is their choice but you can't say that your past experiences doesn't affect how you live your life and make decisions.
and I don't know if Sumin really wants to move on from Seju when she still insist to live in the house Seju bought for her, I mean what the heck?! lol can't Sumin be anymore contradicting

The 9/19/29th thing is when the korean version comes out due to time zones but the english version is still 8/18/28th.

if Sumin had already forgiven Seju a long time ago, then their ten years of toxic relationship would have never happened in the first place.
This I agree with you. There is no doubt that things would be different if Sumin trusted Seju enough.
in my opinion, they never had a closure regarding that issue instead they never talk about it and it is the reason why Sumin always brings it out every time she gets angry with Seju. well, mainly because the pain of betrayal is still in there.
though I agree that it is their choice but you can't say that your past experiences doesn't affect how you live your life and make decisions.
You dont understand my point. Sumin already forgave Seju in arc 3, after she decided to turn over a new leaf with Sungji. She also admitted that she felt guilty for torturing or revenging on Seju. Sumin already forgave. Did you see her bringing up the past in arc 3? Or all she had said is lets stop this, lets live a better life or we cant go back and she wont vent out her anger on Sumin anymore?
My point is as of now, its not longer about forgiveness. They had gone past that. They are now just struggling with letting go of each other after everything they has been going through together. Its no longer about regrets, anger, guilt or anything from the past 10 years anymore, its just about memories and their past love. Something they cant let go just yet.
And the most important point is, regardless of anything, Seju decides to not let go. No matter what Sumin says or does, she will hold on, forever hold on. Its not about forgiveness or closure now xD.
To make my point clearer, thanks to Nora89 and her official translation, this is what Seju had said in the past chap:
"I will hold on and I will hold on more even if its hopeless"
"One day I wouldnt be able to see you anymore then I'll gather all of our memories and live on with them"
Seju chooses not to forget. She chooses to hold on, to remember. She wont kill herself or anything. Even if Sumin has moved on, she'll live but wont move on, she lives with their memories. She chooses that. Closure or not, forgive or not, it will not effect Seju's decision anymore, she will stay and she will love Sumin till the last day.
After that last chap, honestly, if Seju moves on with another person, wdtfs will be a big failure when it comes to plot. For real.
and I don't know if Sumin really wants to move on from Seju when she still insist to live in the house Seju bought for her, I mean what the heck?! lol can't Sumin be anymore contradicting
This I agree with you. I still wait for more from Sumin regarding this.

Is the bartender the real reason Sumin and Seju can't be together?
I wonder! Specially when Seju explained it or let's say, TG spoon fed it in ch27. (That hospital scene and the whole chapter is really something)
Now, I thought like droppin this: I think ch9 restaurant scene between Seju and Sumin and again this chapter same restaurant scene should be read side by side.. it could tell a thing or two.
I was discussing this with Foxy lady.. what does Seju hates the most?.. you might want to check ch79 (when she went to invite Sungji for lunch) and again in ch10. Sumin DOES NOT know what Seju hates the most.. otherwise, she wouldn't have thought twice seeing what she saw in ch11.
Nora89
Sometimes I feel like a student, learning from my much more knowledgeable teachers in you and Foxy lady. XD But this is more fun. :)
Is the bartender the real reason Sumin and Seju can't be together?
No, as you stated before, it was their underlying issues.
I think ch9 restaurant scene between Seju and Sumin and again this chapter same restaurant scene should be read side by side..
I thought about that scene as well when reading this chapter. Seju knows what Sumin likes and it was implied that Seju knew Sumin would like Sungji.
what does Seju hates the most?..
Taking a wild, probably incorrect guess here... men? Even if it's not that, I did always wonder why Seju slept with a man when she said she wasn't interested. I assumed, in the drunken, vulnerable state she was in, that it could have been possible.
The main reason I'm holding back on accepting the hypothermia theory is... that it is kind of abstract for your average reader to understand. I wonder how Team Gaji would effectively explain it to the reader if that was the case, have a doctor do so, or a witness? The bartender himself? I am not sure. It is noteworthy how Seju was affected by alcohol in chapter 84 though. It showed her low tolerance.

mpgpeg, first of all.. thanks for taking the time reading such half-assed explained comment XD.
Is the bartender the real reason Sumin and Seju can't be together?
No, as you stated before, it was their underlying issues.
not only that, but we agree that Seju is a daughter of a chaebol, their reputation is a huge deal. Take a look at this:
http://imgur.com/a/VvDmS
from there, you know that Seju's reasoning to Sumin's scarring was that her family were threatening them for having a homosexual relationship. It is shown that this kind of rumor was known at some level. You know why Seju accepted to see these blind dates ? TO PROTECT SUMIN !
why can't they be together, along side their issues (insecurities, trust.. etc) .. it's the BAEKS !. read the ending of ch27..
http://imgur.com/a/Dd3WL
they can't be together unless they leave the country. AND they won't leave the country unless they are together.
Now that her brothers sent her an assassin, who followed her from ch62 was not because what she said in ch71.. but maybe it's a more of reputation in a family that down looks at her. (this is a MAYBE.. I don't know)
Taking a wild, probably incorrect guess here... men?
CORRECT.. dammit, I like sharp people ! hehehe.. the conversation is interesting this way.
The main reason I'm holding back on accepting the hypothermia theory is... that it is kind of abstract for your average reader to understand.
hehe.. when was WDTFS ever directed to the average readers! the moment I saw ch50.. I was like, what do we have hereeee hehehe :P
anyways, they are good and well knowledgeable of these issues, for example the PTSD symptoms were slowly given to us from ch77 (the moment Sumin knocked the door and Seju was easily startled), through her eating disorder, mood swings in ch78, nightmares 79 ...etc until now. carefully putting things together. OMG, and Sumin's PTSD, and her coping mechanism (women and alcohol) does tell you that they know their stuff really well.. let alone the body language thing!
The bartender himself? I am not sure. It is noteworthy how Seju was affected by alcohol in chapter 84 though. It showed her low tolerance.
now this is tricky.. and depends on TG's mood for "breast feeding" XD.. because they already gave you multiple occasions where Sumin's assumption was just WRONG, and in this chapter Sumin was in a position where she was greatly misunderstood by Sungji but couldn't explain. Also, I don't know if TG would care to explain the obvious, since they already showed us in ch79, ch10 and all her blind dates that Seju dislikes men, period !.. they also explained Seju's weakness, not having any sorts medications at home and inability to protest on a kid like Sungji who excused herself inside Seju's apartment (and notice, Seju's driver DOESN'T drive her home ever (Think of why Sumin's assumption about Seju having guards in ch26 was wrong).. then again ch84.
it's really all about TG willingness to spoon feed AND how much shocking and twisting are they planing to show.
