Dang, I was hoping all along that some crazy shit would happen that would allow the princess to marry her maid without having to elope or whatever. Well, doesn't look it, but at least it ended on a moderately hopeful note?

I just hoped for the maid to go with her and become her lover even if she had to marry someone else... not the real happy ending but still nicer than nothing. This is just sad...

i don't get it, sure the daughter of someone so important has to marry and it sucks, but is there any reason she wouldn't take the maid along if she loves her?

On the first page it's totally snowing! So they had a long term relationship...at the end, it's raining and she says it's spring in that distant land(she's supposed to go to) so yeah, my rose-colored-conclusion is that they stay together....

Oh god.. you just made me remember an R18 work where the princess marries a guy old enough to be her dad and takes the maid with her, and the maid comes and has sex with her after the guy was done with her. Unpleasant times.
