I don't consider being a weeb a bad thing tbh. Or rather, there are some part of its definition that I kinda ignore. I don't think it really matters.

Besides the Vocaloid part, that tells me you like electronic/synthetic music (?), the OP and ED bit tells me nothing xD It's still vague, aside that it's japanese music + there's the emotional attachment lingering from having watched (and liked?) the anime it's from.
A month ago, on facebook, I saw this mv (that I think someone made about a online japanese drama series, shipping some of the girls?) and I really liked the song used.
Idk what the series is about tbh, but I found the title, which in english, literally means: Who Killed Daigoro Tokuyama?
徳山大五郎を誰が殺したか？(Tokuyama Daigoro wo Dare ga Koroshitaka?)
Seems like possibly morbid high school girls drama.
Wanted to share the song, band seems cool too

I see weeb as a bit different from your typical anime & manga fan, honestly. There's a certain fetishism to it, and assumption that you understand a whole lot about Japanese culture when you really don't.

For me, Weebs are just people with waifus. Don't really care about the actual definition.

Also, I totally listen to anime music too. Same thing, right?

well, we met through through an accident, and it turns out we have a few friends in common.. kind of funny how small this world is. At first I went out of my way to ask for a date more just for the heck of it, but with some time my perception of the situation has changed quite a bit.. well, right now both of us agree that we cannot be really sure if it's a good friendship or something more. Kind of hard for me to pass an objective judgement here.

Right now we're stuck unable to talk to each other in person, that hopefully we'll meet by the christmas.. which will be kind of nice, I mean, a date in such an atmosphere.

As I said before, she has really nice personality, admirable hair (got forbibben from complimenting her on her looks) and she's smart.. plus, she perceives me as what i actually am, which is really nice.

Got promised sleeping in one bed and cuddling at night, regardless of the end result.

Cannot really say anythingabout how things will turn out.. to be honest, I'm a bit irrated over how I still have to wait, but I'm a patient girl. I can wait a bit. The uncertaintity kind of sucks tho.

To be fair, there's a bit of an age gap involved. Under Vocaloid I tend to drift more towards the Utaite or cover songs sub-fandom, it's interesting how many different versions of a particular song you can get depending on the person/group covering.

As for anime OP and EDs, I actually have 2 playlists specifically divided between "pop and cheery" songs, and "cool, dark or rockish" songs, and the former has a lot more songs than the latter (lol); an example for the former would be "Dream x Scramble" by AiRi, the OP theme of Keijo, and for the latter something like "KABANERI OF THE IRON FORTRESS" by EGOIST, which is used as the OP theme for the same anime.

Note: Although the 1st playlist has more songs, I tend to listen to the 2nd one more when I'm outside.

Never thought I would say it, but I'm so glad I have no clue what "weaboo", "waifu" or any of that stuff actually means (sure, I know the definitions....). Guess its one of the advantages of age.

Now.....get off my lawn! Damn kids with your new fangled terms and such. Back in my day we called it Japanimation and were glad to pay $35 for a VHS tape with 45 minutes of animation on it! We had to walk 6 miles to the nearest anime club, uphill in 3 feet of snow...BOTH WAYS!
