Eh, I'm not really surprised by this turn of events, disappointing for being too obvious and cliche of course, but it was obvious for some time that Seju was desperate and might have tried something, I kind of find Seju and Sumin actions in character actually, what I didn't like is how Sungji is reacting to the situation, her girlfriend fucking cheated on her and she acts as if it's not a big deal? Like, she'll fight for Sumin? Really? Yeah Seju planned that and was being manipulative, what she did is wrong, there's no arguing about her actions, but Sumin is an adult, she's not mentally challenged, she's not retarded or anything like that, this all could have been avoided if she just denied Seju wish, even if Seju was being manipulative in the end Sumin still had a choice, and she chose to do that, Seju don't have some form of mind control to negate Sumin choice, if you stop to think about it the situation is actually kind of worse, because not only Sumin was going to cheat on Sungji, but if not for Seju plan Sungji wouldn't even know what Sumin did, which makes Sumin the worse of the two, because of how bad she reacted when Seju cheated on her it's not only hypocrital but kind of disgusting she did the exactly the same on Sungji, cause really, there's no excuse for her actions.

I still believe this is a healing story, in most of them the healing happens near the end of the story, and before the healing starts things get a lot worse, just like it's happening now, I'm just curious about what will be the next plot twist, maybe the theory that Seju cheating was planned by Nammi or that crazy guy who attacked Sumin is going to happen? It would be one way to make things even more tragic.

As for how people are reacting in other places, that's fan dumb for you, the character or pairing they like is perfect, anything and everything they do is excusable or have a reasonable explanation, while the one they hate is a monster and nothing they'll do is good in any way, I mean, really, both Seju and Sumin are completely wrong here, if there's any victim it's just Sungji, I find stupid how they want Sumin x Sungji even more now cause really, the way Sungji is acting is very mary suish and unrealistic, she said she's going to fight for Sumin, but the fact that Sumin easily accepted to sleep with Seju even though she knows better than anyone else what that meant, doesn't that mean she loves Seju more than Sungji?

Another thing, obviously this chapter will divide fans even more, make some people change sides, if not outright stop liking Seju and/or Sumin, but I doubt they will really lose much fans, like, yeah both are completely wrong here, which one is more wrong is completely arguable, but even so, from the beginning we saw that both are, well, pathetic, really, there's not other word to define them, and a lot of characters simply can't be sympathetic without being pathetic, the fact that Seju made all this plan and manipulate Sumin, and the fact that Sumin accepted Seju wish when she could have just said no, just shows how pathetic they are, I suspect that to make things balanced again they'll show more tragic things with Seju while Sumin act like a jerk or give shitty excuse to Sungji as to why she slept with Seju.

Chapter 6 Spoiler :
Sumin will tell Sungji lets go back home and both of them will die in an accident cause she was driving when she's still drunk. Seju will say oh its all my fault blablabla and kill herself
End of What Does The Fox Say.

I don't think Seju was planning all this from the start. In the previous chapter, Sumin called Seju to meet in the evening and Seju was thinking about returning Sungji's ring. I assume, in a normal way. And Seju did not know that Sumin was going to cut ties with her. It's just funny if Seju was able to steal a chance to text Sungji before proceeding to go to bed with Sumin. Without Sumin knowing about it. If Seju have texted Sungji earlier, I think Sungji wouldn't have gone home yet. I know Seju is somewhat manipulative but I think that it is possible that this is just a coincidence and not a set up. But it just looks like it was all planned because of the way Seju acted and talked to Sungji. (I might be wrong but, it's just a thought)

In the chapter 54 just before Seju asked sumin to have sex with her one last time (she didn't said it directly but the person that translated said that it was what she meant by let me do what I want) someone knocked at the door and I suppose she knew it was sungji and said that to sumin
So in my opinion it was planned (not from the beginning) but she planned it when she heared someone knocking

I thought it was her, thanks o7

Well, maybe planned is not the right word, but either way it looks like Seju made it on purpose, maybe she just saw an opportunity and acted on it, but even if it was a coincidence, does it really matter? What she asked for was something really wrong and shitty to do, and Sumin accepting it was just as wrong and shitty, although if Seju really did plan it instead of acting on the opportunity she had will make her side look worse, I don't really think there's any argument to make Sumin less wrong, because she had choice, so for me both are equally wrong, though you can see one worse than the other depending on how you see the situation, I just don't think Seju is the monster some people seens to make her to be.

I have a question
In this part http://i.imgur.com/FDO4EXB.jpg
Isn't it Sumin that said this ? "It can't end the way you want it to. Now... Sungji-ssi. Things have changed."
Cause before that when Sungji was talking Seju was looking at her like "you're shit" and in this part Seju is surprised so I think it was Sumin that said it and I think it makes more sense
Edit : Or maybeeeeee Sungji said "It can't end the way you want it to. Now..." And Sumin said "Sungji-ssi. Things have changed."
I think it makes even more sense xD

(Maybe I was the only one that tought at the beginning that it was sungji that said that cause if the text translation they said it was sungji that said that)

I also thought it was the sound of knocking, but I looked it up and it wasn't the sound of someone knocking. So SungJi wasn't there yet when Seju made her request. Sungji arrived when they already moved to the bed.

It's true that what Seju asked for was shitty, but Sumin is the bigger jerk here because she had the choice to refuse, but she didn't. She could say no to having sex with Seju when her finger was injured, but can't say no now after putting a ring on Sungji. All Seju did was ask, she didn't force Sumin to sleep with her.

To Sumin, that was Seju's last wish and it's like Seju said it wouldn't mean anything anyway. She had choices, but she was in a situation where she was being responsible for badly hurting Seju.

I don't think that's an excuse, because Sumin has a girlfriend, just because it's Seju last wish that doesn't mean she need to agree with it, she also already hurt Seju a lot of times in those 10 years, so she could have refused it, and about how Seju said it wouldn't mean anything anyway, that's bullshit and both know it, Seju is still in love with Sumin, Sumin is still in love with Seju, they know it, there's just not way that it wouldn't mean anything, not to mention that even if it didn't, it would still mean something, betraying Sungji for no reason, Sumin was always selfish, there's no reason for her to care now about hurting Seju or not, the truth is that like always, both are completely weak and pathetic when it's about each other, Seju for making such last wish that she knew would not end well if Sumin accepted, and Sumin because she comes to talk with Seju about how she need to get away from her because she want to be with Sungji but still said yes to her wish, the fact that all it needed for them to have sex was Seju asking for it just show that deep down she don't want to go away, and that was already kind of obvious because she believes that if she don't get away from her she won't be able to have other relationships, which also means part of her wants to be with Seju, really, now that she outright admitted that she loves Seju and said that to her, it'll just make things worse since now Seju knows she has a chance, I guess maybe threesome ending is not that impossible after all, will be hard for everyone to be happy otherwise, not impossible, but kind of hard, because Seju already waited for 10 years, she can probably wait another 10 years since she knows Sumin loves her, she already believed Sumin would always come back, now she won't have doubts about that.

The past few chapters were a MESS! Seriously, fuck Sumin! I have been a fan of her since the start, even with that womanizer side of hers. I thought she was and wanted to become a better person for Sungji (based on how her personality started to soften every time she's around Sungji). I understand she still loved Seju but even though it was a goodbye sex, it was cheating no matter how you look at it!

Honestly, I don't really blame pink for doing this. After all, she's been crazy in love with Sumin for a decade, she's practically obsessed; so it's rather expected of her to be pulling this evil trick just to separate blonde and black.

About Sungji's reaction, well, Sumin was her first love after all. I don't think she actually knew how or what to react and so far she's appeared to be a calm and collected person, thus for her to lose control and go all psychotic is highly unlikely.

Don't be silly, it's never too soon for shipping, and right now this is how I think Sumin x Sungji shippers are feeling

I know that when it comes to Seju, as long as she's happy I'm happy, I'm never going to abandon my ship.

I'm just ecstatic to see Sungji's character more fleshed out. I love this side of her, especially when she held her own and retorted, "The pitiful one is you, president." I don't blame Seju for her untoward behavior. It seems only natural as she is backed into a corner. Plus, she was painted as the crazy evil-ex from the start so it's fitting.

I do think it was a bad choice on Sumin's part to abide by Seju's last wishes. She shouldn't have done it out of respect for her current partner. Her actions mirror Seju's from a decade ago. If I were Sungji, after walking in on this fiasco, I'd let Seju have Sumin. From the start, Sumin was awful at showing her emotions and communicating her feelings to Sungji. I'm hoping Sungji can make Sumin a stronger person but I'm not sure she deserves that chance anymore.

I'm not big into ships but I did expected something actually unexpected and good. Not just cliche. Hence I want the glasses + Sungji ship to start sailing.

Meanwhile Sumin + Sungji fans

Yes, we can say this chapter is a cliche, and some many people saw it coming. But we can see the thing with other point of view, for example, Team gaji could do of this cliche an scene different. How? The actitud of Sungji, I waited, she would make a piteous scene but not, she kept calm and say all that she felt with maturity. Also her words make us guess the meaning... I just hope she does not forgive to sumin easily...because could be a little unreal, I mean, she has already seen them in the bed, that has to be hard to assimilate. Also we cannot forget the fact we saw the scene loss in the first part of the story, in the Sumin´s birthday when Seju saw them together and Sumin was asleep in Sungji´s lap.

On the other hand, I do not why people started to hate Seju, team Gaji showed us in chapter before that Seju is a manipulative persona when she wants to Sumin comes back with her..we cannot forget when Nami and Seju talked, we could know Seju was the reason because redhead girl´s husband knew everything about Sumin and hit her. Now she decided to did it again because she felt threatened by Sungji.

The problema is how Sumin ceded at her request...I do not think people have to justify Sumin´s action.. she committed the bigest mistake...the same that she could never forgive to Seju. How can she hope than Sungji let it go? In this chapter sumin won the prize for being the most dumbest person.

An applause for Sungji, she could remain stable...Just weep in your house poor girl. Although she knew everything so, she had the opportunity for thinking about the consequences to have a relationship with a person like Sumin....So.....

Near the end of ch 55, the line "do you even know how i came to receive these feelings" makes me feel like there's something more to why sungji fell in love with sumin.

plot twist (and also a long shot), sungji actually met sumin years ago, probably during the time when sumin was in the hospital or some sort (which puts sumin at 24 yo and sungi at 14) and sungji remembers her from some act of kindness or sth.

Ahhhh..how long I've waited for this moment to say this. CHEATING IS CHEATING regardless of any situation. Lol she's not drunk. She has a lovely, understandig gf that she loves and loves her back, even all her flaws yet she still cheated. She should have think about it properly before doing it. She should have known better already how it felt to be betrayed by the one you love and trust the most and yet Sumin didn't consider what might Sungji would feel being cheated on wether Sungji saw them or not but sadly it was the latter.

She hated Seju for ten years for that mistake. They both suffered. Respecting Seju my ass. Sumin has gone full retard. She's just the exact meaning of hypocrite. She cheated and that's it. Stop rationalizing. :P :P :P

I really don't get why everyone is so mad or dispointed at Seju? She is the most realistic character in this manga.

Please remember that Seju is borned and raised in a very twisted and dark family. If she doesn't have a cunning or manipulative side, how did you think she was able to survive in that family for this long? Whatever she did or say in this chapter should never invalidate all the her surferring she went through and all the efforts she gave to redeem her relationship with Sumin. Loving someone unconditionally for a month like Sungji does is easy, loving someone unconditionally for 17 years like Seju is as stupid as is admirable.

Maybe Seju has fall to a typical antagonist in K-drama, but every real person has layers, it's great to see the good one and the bad one. Plus like the author said, if Seju doesn't turn to her dark side once, it's a great waste of her beauty.

On the other hand, if Sungji wasn't bluffing in this charpter, then her character is too perfect, and almost scary. However, the 3rd arc is from her POV, so we should probably see the deeper side of her also

I've thought about what she meant by that too...It didn't make sense and there wasn't anything more added to it. But I think this could be a key factor to why Sungji fell in love with Sumin and is so considerate of her, even now at this point, where she didn't act out mad but remained calm.

They said in the intreview that this will focus on Sungji and Seju, and also that third arc will be about "Learning to love again"

As for Seju going psycho, although it is no surprise, it was never confirmed whether she actually did worse things or not. The redhead situation, I found it normal, because Redhead was also cheating on Sumin too, so it was not exactly sabotaging their relationship. It was good for Sumin to know she was been cheated.
I personally don't like how her character is turning, not only because what she did now is very wrong (not that Sumin isn't wrong either), but also how she is turning psycho, only to make people hate her and jumb on TeamBlonde.

I think it would be better to keep her more neutral with hints of sinister like the past chapters, and let people decide who they like more out of Seju and Sungji. Now it's kinda forcing it t go to a certain direction. Well not for everyone, but definitely for some readers anyway.
And also the fact that they may reveal more crap in the future too, making her look even worse than this.

Like Sumin was stuck with her, because Seju was deliberately destroying every relationship Sumin was in. Or even she ordered mole guy to hurt Sumin... Then Sumin founds out about all of this(Sungji helps her too) and realises that this was not love, but she was manipulated by a toxic person and finally moves on.

It was nice how we had a choice of liking either the ex or the current love interest, and this is what made this manhwa nice for a change. But this is the direction it seems to be getting now. It's not only because of what Seju did this chapter, it's also about what she will do in the future too. Things can easily get way uglier than this.

I think she could be referring to chapter 14 where Seju told Sungji “if only there was someone who could take care of her…”. Meaning take care of Sumin.

Not sure but that was the first thing that popped up in my mind when I read that line.

But Sungji meant that there is a reason why she has those feelings for Sumin (why she loves her). It doesn't have to do with her being the person who will take care of Sumin.
I think we will find out on thrid arc. This could be the start for a deeper development between them

I really hope that you are right because a deeper development would be desirable at this point.
But I meant that Seju kinda encouraged Sungji back then to be there for Sumin which could have led to her developing even deeper feelings for Sumin.

So the “Do you even realize how I developed these feelings?!” could refer to her encouragement back then. Something like “Back then you gave me your blessing. And now you say it’s all over. It’s all your fault that I started this relationship in the first place!”
I hope you get what I’m trying to say. ^^

It’s just a guess ‘cause with this story you never know what will happen next.

Oh now I got it. Yes it's actually quite possible!
I could bet Sungji will not only help Sumin but Seju as well
