I don't think you're the only one who thinks like that. Seeing as GuP's fanfiction sub-section is generally filled with het works in which Oorai becomes a Co-ed school, usually they also try to add in something like Tankery, only with planes or infantry instead. It's really just an excuse to get their OCs to hang out with the main characters though, so they can start shipping them together.
