the anime's atmosphere with the new guys making it feels very different to the usual Yuru Yuri of previous seasons... Not sure if I like it yet.

Also Sabagebu was awesome. Somewhat off-putting at first but it gets pretty good.

So Gangsta has a surprise yuri couple (like Psycho-Pass reveal). Characters don't get much screen time though (and I don't particularly like one of the characters -- she's a complete a-hole). Maybe individually they have about 3-4 minutes including all episodes.

^ surprise/reveal of yuri is always great xD, unfortunately couples like that usually have so little screentime that it is not worth watching the anime for the yuri at all.

I have not seen the vast majority of the animes I pointed out in the past as non-yuri anime with yuri.

If the show by itself is great and the yuri couple by itself is just the cherry on top, that's good too!

^ unfortunately thats kinda rare. A lot of what I have stumbled upon was below average at best, some not particularly interesting enough to even try watching, and most quite terrible in on itself. So I just skim through fast for scenes with yuri-moments :p

haha, I totally agree!! Definitely don't watch Gangsta for the yuri, you're going to be sorely disappointed. But as far as storyline (+typical subtextual relationship between mains) goes, it's amazing and I must say Norainhere put it nicely :P:

Yea, the world is really interesting as well, but man, that show how loads of characters xD. Sadly the common problem with light novel adaptations is you can't flash every character when there is so many. Angel girls did get fair amount of screen time so it wasn't that bad. And their arc was good too. I'm surprised this anime got second season, but still with so much stuff going one they clearly need at least 5 more and I doubt they will get that.
