If you're adding webcomics (there was a topic on that awhile ago) you can add Spinnerette and Red String (its a side couple but they get pretty good focus).

And Girls with slingshots and Namesake (still light for Namesake but i'm sure the yuri part will grow and grow and grow... =D At least it is not subtext) and Girly and Dumbing of age and Questionnable content and Curvy and Flaky pastry and this and that and... ... ... ... ... ...

For those who wants to try by the same author (Sunstone) there is Death Vigil. There is no Yuri yet but if the author sell enough to continue this comic the main character will most likely end up with a girl (they are very flirty with each other every time they are together and lot's of subtext that isn't really subtext because it's just clear x)). This comic is just awesome, I recommend it to everyone.

I realized that after watching Wentworth, OITNB, Sense8 and Orphan Black, I'm not all that enthusiastic about yuri anime anymore. I totally prefer 5 minutes of Franky x Bridget or Cosima x Delphine per hour over 100% gay up yuri anime now.

Yeah, I wish there were more anime and manga with epic plots that just happen to have same-sex couples in the main cast. I don't mind schoolgirl stories, but... Some variety would be nice. More adult women in yuri!

On the other hand, TV shows with plots (thrillers, sci-fi, superhero stories) still have this annoying tendency to kill off their LGBT characters (there was like an epidemy of dead lesbians and bi women last year), so I'd say we're not quite there yet. I'm still wary of TV writers because they like to pull the "tragic romance" card, and YMMV on this, but I don't think we've had enough happy same-sex love stories at this point to afford more tragic gays after literal decades of the trope.

Updated the list, also added some movies: Mädchen in Uniform (German movie from 1931, apparently has a happy end) , Puccini for Beginners (sounds a little shady), Nina's Heavenly Delight, Paris is Burning (documentation), Kissing Jessica Stein (sounds very shady)

And I agree, the dead LGBT characters trope is really annoying. I'm okay with it in very rare cases like Delphine but usually I just stop watching by then.
I Loved how Wentworth waved all the death flags there are for Franky and then gave her a happy ending anyways, though.

Yeah, the LGBT death flag is annoying. I'm playing Avernum IV, and I encountered a lesbian NPC, only to find her lover dead. Out of the three queer NPCs in the series I've encountered so far, only one has a living partner.

Anyway, I just finished Elena Undone, by the same producer/author of A Perfect Ending. It's a really nice movie with a happy ending, though the 'skip' at the end and the pregnancy are really not my thing. That's just me though. Unless it's science babies or adoption me no likey xD

Red Doors is a pretty good film. The lesbian storyline is not the sole focus of the movie but worthwhile enough and the other stories are good too. Trailer

I agree with the ending of elena undone, it was just wierd.

Seriously, WTF is with the pacing on Wapsi Square recently? I dig Atsali and Nadette finally getting together (I wanted Atsali to be gay from the start), it takes some of the bad taste out of how the Monica x Georgette thing went down. But it's like shit's happening in a random order now, one strip only occasionally leads into the next.

I found like at least 20 movies that are not yet on the list, most of them have happy ends from what I can tell. I'll add them sometimes in the near future.

By theway, who hasn't seen the short web movie Clean Hands should do so, even if just for fact that it's pretty different from what you usually see. It's on youtube by the guys that did Entangled with You.
