Id not really call not waiting 5 years jumping the gun. If you want to include a new character you are NOT gonna wait 5 years to find out all the details. The vast majority of touhou content has community expanded lore anyways so its no big deal.

I think this is more of an Alternate Reality setting than anything else, what with Medb apparently being a flower shop owner (of all things!) and falling for Skadi when she comes to buy some flowers. Or something along those lines, anyways.
