PERFECT Dream Project (shortened to PDP) is another spin-off of Love Live! It is set in Odaiba at a fictional school called Nijigasaki High School.

Unlike µ's or Aqours, these 9 girls are individuals idols so they don't have a group name and are collectively referred to as the Nijigasaki HS School Idol Club. So far, they're strictly limited to the live streams and the upcoming game, School idol festival ALL STARS.

Kasumi Nakasu (CV: Mayu Sagara) is a first year.
Setsuna Yuki (CV: Tomori Kusunoki) is a second year.
Karin Asaka (CV: Miyu Kubota) is a third year.

Also I didn't know there was gonna be new love live girls. I thought aquors were gonna be in the limelight as long as the originals, but i look forward to putting my yuri goggles on with these new girls

Yes. Their solos (I can't reiterate this enough, they're not a group) should be out in the next few months.

Taking Love Live! School Idol Project’s for example:

• LL season 1 was released in 2013
• LL season 2 was released in 2014
• LL The Movie was released 2015
• LL Sunshine season 1 was released in 2016
• LL Sunshine season 2 was aired from 2017 to 2018
• LL The Movie is coming in January 2019 to wrap things up

Their projects timetables is telling us when the movie is done, Sunshine will be done too (music CDs and anime music videos aside, which have no story to tell).

That being said, PDP has not been confirmed as the new project yet, PDP It’s a webproject featured in the game called Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS and in a 4-koma comic Dengeki Online’s app, I wouldn’t get my hopes high expecting a PDP anime, it may end up something totally new.

What is it with Love Live and their Washi-washi's. Not complaining tho.

Yeah, but after the movie there will be at least 2 more lives, which will make them active at least 2020.

This was surprisingly good. :O

I think it's necessary to have a new tag of Perfect Dream Project, with it we won't be confused between the Classic, Sunshine and PDP

It's kind of wild looking back at this discussion from 2022, where:

• The Sunshine! anime was indeed completed with its movie, aside from music videos, but Aqours is still touring, and has an upcoming collaboration MV with Hatsune Miku
• PDP, still considered something of a spin-off and now simply referred to as the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, launched as the centerpiece of the second Love Live game, School Idol Festival! All Stars in 2019, is now up to 12 members, and is currently airing its second anime season (with a bonus anime-only non-school-idol member taking the place of the game's protagonist)
• The "true" sequel series, Superstar!! , debuted in 2021 with five members in its unit, Liella, has had a successful first season of its anime, and will begin its second season in July with an additional four idols joining
• μ's came out of retirement briefly in 2020 for a new single and MV, "A Song for You! You? You!!"

It's been an interesting four years for the franchise. And of course, the All Stars game still features regular new content featuring the first 2.5 generations (Liella has not yet been added to the game.)
