That was possibly the best way that a story like this could have ended. It's still the classic "and then she waited and then they met up again after graduation" type of resolution, but in a much sweeter and more meaningful way.

Also the kissing. Repeatedly and enthusiastically. Rarely do we eat so well in a final chapter!

Good for them. I these kind of endings always make me question. Because I just couldn't wait years on years just to hope someone is still single etc. But I'm glad for both of them very cute ending and I always love teacher x student stuff
