In the manga/S2 (when it comes out) Marcille gets species-swapped by the Changeling mushrooms a second time, and she turns into a ogre and is unexpectedly buff. The mangaka explained that elves have a much higher default muscle tone than tallmen in-universe, but it's much subtler visually, so Marcille was always buff (sort of).
