was disappointed to find out the artist is Canadian and the Mischief Brew reference title wasn't somehow from a Japanese person. the Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid manga author is into that sorta music so I was holding out hope

Quality tragic HomuMado, but I'm here for the fluffy KyouMami.

Did get a lot of Girl's last tour vibes, so the afterwords make sense.
Homura's story is very tragic, honestly this doesn't feel like an exaggeration of how someone might react. Very brutal to see someone you love die while feeling you could change it if you were stronger.

Did not expect a Mischief Brew reference in a yuri doujinshi. RIP Eric.

out of all the depressing as fuck madoka x homura doujins I've read over the last week this one still sticks with me the most. It must be because of the mixing of intense high and low emotions (e.g., the sudden romantic scene with madoka and then the crushing fall), it makes it feel like a sort of fever dream you'd have as you recall all the good and vile things that ever happened to you all at the same time and in a half-conscious state

also the fanfic mentioned by the author at the end is likewise soul-crushingly depressing, it's well-worth a read

Thank you, I'm very happy that my work has been able to stick with you.
its very humbling to know my work has touched people. I was pretty worried that people were going to hate it because of the ending haha, but its very reliving that's not the case and that people really liked the manga.
