"Children handling things by themselves, poorly" the series.
They're children, how else do you expect to handle such a heavy topic that no child should ever have to deal with?
Damn, pre-school got intense
While they look young, remember that they're in 6th grade, making them 11-12. The art style makes them look younger than that and they act a lot younger but you have to remember that these are still just children at the end of the day.
Since this messed up series seems to be ending soon
Is it ending, though? Where did you read that it was?
I cant enjoy this after i learned what the dad did cuz every chapter afterwards all i can think is how bad i want him dead already
If the father/Dad is still around and very close by...He needs to die quickly or get neutered/Castrated like some commentators said.
No death penalty. That's the easy way out. Life in prison. Let him rot in a cell for the rest of his day.
Bit over the top at the end there.
I'm still hoping Bear-kun shows up to solve the diddler dad problem
My interpretation is that the bear represents the father, symbolically. In fact, when you go back to the first chapter, Riko tells Mary she can't go in the forest because of the bears but, in Mary's mind, the bear is Winnie-the-Pooh, while Riko tells her that bears are actually dangerous and scary. This could represent how children by default are supposed to find comfort in their parents. A father is not supposed to be dangerous so a child won't feel any danger from them. But Colin/Momo's father is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Mary would think every father is safe and loving and caring but Colin/Momo's father is anything but.
