So far i only see Fern like Frieren tho , even in the manga , tough Frieren shows her emotions at times she kinda keeps them muted

also DDK , you take everything too hardcore ( even more for fiction ) , honestly , not only your parent will take care of you and not only your teacher will teach you , not everything is white and black either , even more in Frieren's case , she seems to have many conflicting feellings and regretfull atachements + etc.

^In the manga, Fern is actually in love with Stark, the dude with an axe. they go on a date at one point. Also Frieren is hinted to be in love with Himmel. Her regret is what prompted the journey (at least the way i read it)
