^ the distance is short enough that it's more effective to use the elbow than the sword with that swing, if not for the rapier (which still has a cutting edge) still free to move unhindered right in front of exposed chest and abdonmen, thus swinging with the sword going from under left arm would be much better than from over left shoulder. Not to mention the torso twist, while still within anatomically possible range, doing this during a serious fight is just inviting the opponent to induce spinal damage. Are the knees there supposed to be attempting a stance disrupting move or kneecap breaking move?
As said, this is not the right place for that kind of analysing, but my brain can't help...
