One I spotted was Nijigasaki's Yuu — she also recurs a few pages later.

This did seem maybe longer than it needed to be, but it's a great character study in what brought these two to the beginning of the series.

Judging by the title and format, this is based on that "Crocodile dies in 100 days" manga where the author releases a new comic every day for 100 days. That said, I don't actually know if Kougi actually did make one comic a day since I can't find the raws. Either way, this is some dedication.
