Yeah, they share no connection beyond having Holy forms and having worked with the Magius, their Holy forms don't even come up at the same point in the main story.

This isn't even a popular ship, most of the art you will find of Alina is AliKari(thank god), with AliMifu being an increasingly distant second place.
