I started out only watching saki for the little yuri-ish scenes but eventually I got to the point where I was actually getting really excited about the matches so yeah I think its pretty good.

Yea not really interested in the matches. Being able to get zero every time you play mahjong is a really wierdly specific skill.

saki season 1 has a ton of yuri subtext, well worth the watch, saki achiga hen (which is where this couple is from) has less yuri subtext, but still has some good couples/couple moments, saki the nationals has no yuri subtext whatsoever and focuses entirely on the mahjong aspect

but i do like this pairing, one of the few from achiga hen that you could actually ship without going crazy from the lack of yuri content XD thanks!

and i second this, hajime-touka had to be one of the better ships from the original (partially because of the way the characters are depicted, which makes their relationship much more endearing) and yet there are very few doujins of them on this reader? i wonder if that is because there aren't very many doujins of them period?
