I played the game a long time ago, but...didn't get too far since...well, the beginning. It's SO confusing. Can someone explain the whole thing to me? Even now, I wouldn't really know what to do. There is so much going on in that game unlike Witch's House, Mad Father or IB

There was an official remake/reboot called Yume Nikki Dream Diary that came out in February. People had mixed feelings about it since the gameplay was totally different from the original and there were quite a few bugs at launch that have since been fixed, but it's still neat considering Kikiyama (the creator of the original game) took part in its development.
