It's only fair to see Andrew as he ended up rather than as he began, character-wise. As it turned out, he was charmed but restrained in his dealings with the younger Akko, and quietly supportive of his childhood friend Diana. In fact, he facilitated their friendship. His own presence in the story had to do with the importance of magic as a force of wonder rather than the expedient cowardice of politics that threatened to consume him. He was a gentle, good man who was never a threat to our favorite pair.

That's the entire point of the series and the point of the title. It's not in question. Tomoko's journey is from self-hatred and self-deception to a gradual opening up to her own nature and the outside world.

That's pretty much all I could remember him doing. (forgot he was Diana's friend)Doing his own thing. A budding respect for Akko. He didn't seem to like Akko that much at first. like EVERY other freaking character on the show.

I ship Diakko, but I don't hate Andrew. Yes, he was a jerk in the beginning, but so was Diana.
Plus, in this kind of anime, the protagonist always ends up alone, so people won't get disappointed if their ship wasn't picked.

@telamon The typesetter here, I am posting these daily on r/wholesomeyuri subreddit and occasionally r/yuri. Albeit I randomly select which from the 140 "scenes" I typeset, so it's not chronological.
