I nwver knew Ssamba, but I feel for your loss. Some time ago I started reading Inu x Boku SS after it appeared on the site where I usually read manga. Back then only the first five chapters were available so I haven't read the rest yet (and I haven't watched the anime either). Either way, some time later I found out she died while writing another manga, and that made me kinda sad.
For a more personal example, World Trigger's author had to go on hiatus due to cervical spondylosis, and I'm kinda afraid he'll never be able to continue the series. :(
