@Midnightgunner Well, equivalent to Mercy being the token hot older blonde character, D.va is the token cute young Asian girl. Both are stereotypical, yes.
I'd be hard-pressed to call that a maid's headband in particular. Traditionally manga/anime shows that as a black band with a white frill. This just looks more like a regular headband that anyone might have.
^ Yeah, they're traditionally black and white, but they don't have to be. This one looks like it has black lace frills, and I don't think a regular headband would be so decorative.
Ornamental headbands are not uncommon in manga, I too do not think it is a maid's headband. Besides, the blonde girl is also wearing a frilly cuff on her wrist, that is a maid thing. So is that frilly what-you-call-it, on her thigh. Compare with these examples.
@Salamandrake I dunno if it woks the same in the US but in the UK post seems to have set people - we have had the same post lady for about 10 years or so. (Not counting the courier services ofcourse).
In the US we usually do have a regular mail man/lady, but most packages seem to be handled by fedex or ups and we always get diff workers for those.
^ I was gonna mention those too. So I think the artist has deliberately mixed hints that both of them could be the maid or lady to keep us guessing. It then becomes more 'which would you RATHER see as which'?
