Hello there, I can't recall if we ever talked but I mostly remember you as being the member with the Nio avatar.

Not only Nio, I had avi's of all 12 Assassins from AnR. I changed to a new one every 100 posts. Now that I've run out of Assassins....I figured I'd just have avi's of.....Pretty much anything I'm into really ^^;.

I fucking love AnR. Seriously though I fucking love AnR, it's what got me into yuri in the first place so it holds a special place in my heart.

I wasn't apart of that server but from what I've heard it was shut-down.

You and me both, most of the people that used to be active here aren't on Dynasty's current server either. So I don't have any ways of contacting them either.

I am not pulling a leg here. But why is it so hell-damn hard to read forums in yaoi sites? Why do I have to register first? Why can it just be simple, no beating around the bush? Heck! I had been trying to access yaoi sites for days now. I know dynasty has yaoi tag in here but I wanted to feel the environment... how is it similar or different... which brings me to mind, thank you to all the people behind dynasty-scans.. I mean, it is not easy to maintain and to moderate different kinds of commenters. I am not sugar coating anything here because I don't have any reasons to.. But just a grateful heart acknowledging people who share their resources and efforts. I greatly benefited from it especially that I am a parasite- getting without giving back... hehe... but anyway, thank you.

Edit: Any yaoi sites that I can read outright the forums without doing the registration? Thanks..

I can't decide on getting a New 3DS XL or a New 2DS XL because on the one hand the 3DS costs more than I want to pay and on the other hand the 2DS feels like a watered down product.

I'm pretty surprised to hear that. You get along with this site's users much better than I do. I feel like making friends becomes super hard after school is done with, and it seems like dating sites can rattle even the soundest of egos; I quit all of them.

This is bar none the nicest forum I've ever seen on the internet. I appreciate it a lot. I have pretty weak social skills and I'm silent most of the time, but luckily I'm into sports which makes 99% of guys into your friend instantly. (Doesn't help with making female friends in my experience)

I should have mentioned that I wasn't aiming any part of my vent post at this forum or the members, it's more about my problems with socialising in general. This forum is really the only place I've been where I can be myself and not get bullied when I make a mistake.

I feel the same exact way. In real life, I feel that others saw me as that annoying guy who kept barging into conversations and was just desperate for attention. And I hate to admit it but I guess they were kind of right. Most of the kids in my high-school have known each-other since they were in middle-school, so I guess it would make sense that they would be annoyed whenever I came around and made shitty attempts to join their conversation. This may sound stupid but I've always wanted to be apart of a group of friends that would chill out, crack jokes and talk about things that float their boat (Kinda like those Slice of Life anime). I never really had that in the two schools I attended (In fact it was more like the opposite, I was bullied for my Aspergers Syndrome and had shitty teachers that did jack shit about it). And while the high-school I'm currently at is a huge step up from that, (With zero bullying whatsoever and possibly the best teachers I've ever had) this Cafe is literally the closest thing I've ever had to a group of friends.

I really feel with you guys, honestly.
I think this quote by German philosopher Adorno, "Love you will find only where you may show yourself weak without provoking strength" is so true especially for friendships, and it narrows down your circle of friends pretty drastically, because people can be so much a jerk it's frightening. But you learn to appreciate the ones who're not.
Bullies are the worst and I would really like to kick the asses of those that troubled you so much (also personal experience due to my small height, but learned to partially fight back now)

Finding true friends can take a very long time, but they do exist for everyone somewhere, I'm sure.
After moving to a country where I don't speak the language yet I am also still searching...

I don’t know but from my POV you all seem communicative and friendly people, and you have the air to want to talk others and actually you have what to say..
As for me, I’m probably too quiet in life, rarely knowing what to say.. kinda awkward with communication sometimes , much more comfortable just listening to others.
Even more I’ve never actively tried to be part of a group.

The other day, I actually made my Discord account so that I could talk to a friend using it, and It was bizarre xD

Are you literally me? In all seriousness though, I got bullied a lot too (and I'm also on the spectrum) but I fought back which always ended with me being the one to get into trouble.

I was never really the person who ever fought back or snapped at the bullies. Mainly because whenever I did I was either met with them laughing at me or them running to the teacher going on about how I was apparently trying to "start a fight".

Merry Christmas everyone. Had a fine Christmas eve dinner on my phone in the other room while my aunt and cousins talked about boring stuff. Looking forward to seeing the Cavaliers and Warriors game tomorrow.

Has anyone read "A Canticle for Leibowitz?" The use of language is the cleverest I've ever seen in a science fiction novel, though admittedly I haven't read many.

Have you seen Kamichu? Very light and sweet show with great animation. Any manga I'd recommend would be from this site, not sure if it would help you but I'll give a list if you're interested.
I don't really play any games that are "uplifting" exactly, so I'm useless there.

I admire people who openly talk about their feelings and interests. It's something that I'm generally afraid to do in real life.

Emulators open up a whole new world of old games. Pretty much any computer can run DS or PS1 games so that could really help with being bored of all the games you have.
