I think the reason why Seju never be able to see that Sumin is still in love with her was because she has always carried the guilt from years ago, not only just cheating but also from her family, the fact that Sumin always showed dislike and hatred towards her, and lastly, her own insecure self :)
Seju has always been carrying that guilt, the guilt which what made Sumin who she is today, she knew she was the reason, her family was the reason for it, especially her family :). So, to her, Sumin has every right to hate her, to despise her. The guilt might cloud her own view of detecting any other feelings from Sumin. Even if when Sumin kept coming to her house after she visited the family, Seju also thought that it was because Sumin wanted to make sure she's ok and be able to continue torturing her for what she and her family has done

Sumin's actions. Sumin never shows care for her after what happened. It's all hatred and hostile. Even though she might be able to detect Sumin's mood by her facial expression, she's only human, how the heck did she even realize a feeling that the other person try effing hard to hide it, to bury it, to not acknowledge it? She's not God, she cant read mind :). But she does know Sumin more than anyone else. She knows her, bad mood, good mood, dislikes, likes, she does know her :)

Her own insecure self. Sumin is too good to be true for her. She always thought she might lose her one day and when she indeed lost her, she kinda accepted it, this insecure side of her think she didnt deserve it :), so she didnt see it :)

My argument was seju can see through sumin's actions, words and moods as shown in so many occasion. I dont think we're on the same page, so ill just drop it.

By the way, in many Asian and Middle- Eastern cultures, they find intuitive and perceptive people to be caring and sensitive to others. So it is a very good and rare quality to find in a person that you are dating. As they could address your needs without you saying and provide you with what you want before asking. It means that your toughtfull and pay close attention to your partner.

In addition to the insecurities you mentioned, let's go back to ch3.. as Seju sees love in Sumin's eyes and the way she kissed her.. the moment she told Sumin, Sumin switched back and retreated to her shell acting cold to Seju and even revenge f**cked her in the next day.
Seju wouldn't dare to say she loved Sumin because of the insecurity and the possibility of Sumin shutting down on her. Only after Sumin said it.. she now Knows

In real life, yes, there is this case but with Sumin's case, imagine you date one girl every four months in the past 10 years, plus the constant sex with one ex you didnt get rid of, the amount of sex Sumin had would be hell of a lot so more than a week is actually alot to Sumin :), especially since she loved Sungji alot so it's normal that she's sexual frustrated :)
