TG is pretty cruel to Seju though. Since she thinks Seju is too perfect in a way, she has to give Seju a flaw, making her commit a mistake, however, it was not just a simple mistake. A mistake that took away everything from her, literally, a mistake that she has to live with its painful price for 10 years without forgiveness. One mistake and she has to live in regret for the rest of her life. If this is not cruelty, I dont know what is.

Good question, I also want to ask TG what Sungji's flaw is xD. Too perfect beyond words, both appearance wise and personality wise, act very properly and wisely in every situation. Perfect to the point of boring.

Compare seju and sungji... what sungji doesn't have is money... but seju doesn't have friends, lover who love her back, family who loves her........ leading to her possessiveness and she needs to do one mistake that stole one important thing that she has (it means her world)

I'm not sure if I like Seju staying too close to Sumin in the end. I mean yes this friendship will benefit to her, but it ultimately feels like a character waste. Seju living in their shadow forever.

I don't see why she should move out of their shadow to live in the middle of nowhere. If she is emotionally satisfied, her living in others' shadow or hell doesn't matter imo. At the end of the day, it's all about her own satisfaction.

It's not the middle of nowhere. She can find place to stay, even find ways to buy herself some emotional support too.
Like find a good therapist, buy a nice house in the nature, or buy lots of pets.
Sumin should not be her god, to the point where she is willing to lose all of her self respect.
They can still be friends of course, but if Sumin choses Sungji, she should just accept it for once.

I disagree. If team gaji wants her to move on, they should've done it sooner instead of pushing her further to the love triangle. Seju has made it this far so why does she have to stop now?

that's exactly why I don't see Sumin as the one who will take the decision in ending things - if it meant to be ended- even if she wanted to for whatever reason.

Well, yeah, Sungji has been acting very wisely, perfectly, properly, nicely, and forgivingly in every situation. She's too good to the point that no one can blame her anything for everything that has happened in wdtfs, it's either Seju's fault or Sumin's fault. I cant even say anything else about her. It's kinda boring, honestly, people can have flaws, wdtfs is ending and all I could say about her is how perfect and nice and cute and forgiving she is. I dont know anything else from her, except those things

well, the way Seju is designed, she has severe insecurities, in a sense that she didn't even feel assured even during her best times with Sumin, flashback in ch56 and again in ch72.. and let alone ch10 and 26.
she herself doesn't believe that anybody would love her the way Sumin once did, and for that she is going to sacrifice every thing she has for what she calls: "the distance where I could feel this emotion" ch45.
if a person doesn't feel worthy of being loved, how could we assume that they have self-respect?
the promises that Sumin made are even more significant to a miserable child like Seju, they were a lifeline to her.. you can see that in the beginning of ch19, no matter how much hate she receives, that one great love made her feel worthy and able to take it all.

Also, I wouldn't be really sure that Team Gaji is setting her up to be forever with them. This involvement with Sumin now could very well be different.
She slowly sees Sumin caring for her again. In the past, she kept on going back for three reasons. One, Sumin was the only person she had and ever loved, and second she was also burdened with guilt for Sumins parents as well as cheating on her. Third, she always knew that Sumin will go back to her, or had hopes for it.
But things with Sungji are different now. She knows this us more serious than Sumin's past gfs.

So in the end she is able to move on from Sumin, because the burden from the past, as well as Sumin's hate is being resolved. Her staying with Sumin now could be repairing the wounds.from the past in order to move on.

ah and MacySan , Sumin was the one who kept giving Seju hope by always coming back to her, and sometimes waiting for her in her home whenever Seju has to visit the main house.. also showing jealousy towards Seju.. let's not forget that sometimes Sumin will make Seju feels like Sumin is still in love with her in the way she looks at her and makes love to her like in ch3.
that false hope participated in making Seju wait and wait forever.. Sumin is aware of that as she tells Sungji in ch77: "it might even be my fault that Seju doesn't have anyone else to rely on"
