Looks more like it was a dream, where she woke up with her hand held above and Kiene sneezed. Also probably something to do with the "Why does autumn make us feel lonesome?" part.

Doesn't seem to be anything deeper.

A simple story like this is nice I guess.

I think it's a rare case of 'flash forwarding' where we see Mokou finally understanding why autumn make people feel lonely. The story is non-linear if I'm not mistaken. Where the scenes with Keine being the present and the middle portion a few more years into the future.

I agree with the flash-forward, we've see Vivit Gray use it in other stories already. But I think it's not entirely sad in that Mokou seems to be carrying on Keine's legacy in that she's learned to appreciate and take pleasure in nature.

Shinoasa's stories are such gold! Not much talking in this one but there's always a beautiful concept.

no i think it was a flash back. she was probably remembering about the loneliness before she met keine.

Today I finish all the doujins about Kei x Mou of Vivit Gray. Let's not talking about the obvious like super cute art, heart warming stories ... These doujins just really calm me and make me feel so peaceful and relieved and also make me think why not just find a lover, go to the end of the earth, live that simple life with a bit up and down...?! Geez and I just got in university, just start to get in the troublesome society, I guest...
Anyway, MarXAli was my favorite pairing until now. Hope I'll find some more great mangaka like Vivit Gray!

4 years has passed since the first time I read this doujin and today, it still remains as the oneshot I like the most
