Alice Margatroid.

She interesting since she acts as a foil to so many characters, similar to Marisa.
She's also pretty damn gorgeous.

Something about the Cheshire part tipped me off that that was the case... ;D

It's a bit more obvious here at least but on other forums I use a slightly different name. Simply Alice, when it's available. (Wasn't available here though unfortunately.) Multiple times though I've ended up in a debate over Touhou for one reason or another and the other person has tried to attack me for being a Touhou fangirl due to my name "obviously" being based on Alice Margatroid, lol.

Mokou is the only one I understand and can remember and recognize, so I guess it's her.

A real life acquaintance of mine is called Alice Helsing. I always imagine she'd get flamed like crazy for "trying to hard", if she used that name on a forum. x)

@Vankomycin
You might like Yagokoro Eirin. She likes to punish her servants when they don't act according to her wishes. Wink wink

That seems unfortunately likely, lol. Kind of a neat name to have though.

Anything from "I like Reimu, because even though she's a main character, she's a greedy asshole in canon, and I find that that's hilarious"

I'm not familiar with that many characters so far but I must say that and her general "oops-I-almost-gave-a-fuck" attitude really work for me

A fun challenge, for those who don't already know the video...

Try recognizing all the silhouettes in the Bad Apple!! shadow art music video!

Since the video doesn't mention it any information about it:

Bad Apple!! feat. nomico by Alstroemeria Records
Arrangement: Masayoshi Minoshima
Lyrics: Haruka
Vocals: nomico

I always recognize like half to two-thirds of them but I can't remember the names of more than about ten, lol.

Hey, as long as we're on the subject, is there a Japanese word for "Master"/"Mistress" that is specific to BDSM, and is not widely used outside of that context? Or do they just use "Sensei" for that?

Asking for a friend.

"For a friend", huh? Mhmm, yes, I see how it is.

The most common, as far as I'm aware, are the words ojou-sama (f) and goshujin-sama (m), which mean mistress/master, although not limited to BDSM. They are general terms for a servant to address their mistress/master, and also used as a respectful way to address or mention someone of a certain household (e.g. "The Smith family's ojou-sama").

The English loan word masutaa (master) also exists, and is used gender-neutrally, but is not very common, as it is mostly used for an "exotic" tone.

Try here or here.

Ojou-sama is usually only used for young girls. Joou-sama ("Queen") is the term you'd want for "Mistress" more generally.
