She was literally singing, "Tonight's dinner is croquette," which doesn't appear to be a reference to anything. But as soon as I read that, the "chicken tonight" song popper into my head, so you got that.

I dunno if the younger girl is invested enough at this point to be destroyed. She's interested and concerned for the other girl, but the most she'd be set up for so far is mild disappointment.
