The dub royally fucked up Dragon maid by implying Kobayashi was straight.
Her being sexually ambiguous works for both Yuri and Comedy purposes and you fucked it up.

In Germany the subtitles are equal to the japanese meaning. Luckily they didn't fuck up the German translation ^^

I remember watching Macross Plus, ages ago, with the dub. Which wasn't bad, but when I saw the sub later I realized that the dub completely changed the meaning of a pivotal scene. Really pissed that they did that, because it made me look at the characters differently.

Demi-chan would've be a nicer show if every girl weren't falling for the teacher! He's a nice guy, but still... was hoping that Yukki would not fall for him, so Hikari x Yukki could live in my fantasy, but nope :T

As much as I loath harem setups, I think Demi-chan does a pretty good job keeping a distinction between Iron Man's flirting with the other teacher versus the simple crushes that some of the girls have on him.

And even though vampire said right in the beginning that oh, liking ice maiden is only an adolescent thing, she still sure seems into her. Especially with how she's talked about biting a neck as being a sort of sexual thing and how she really wants to bite ice maiden...

^ Demi-chan is definitely not rotten like other school harem stuffs, I'm enjoying it for the most part since it mostly focuses on the girls' interactions and not about them fighting over the teacher's affection. But, I still think it would've been nicer if only like 1 of them fall for him and not the entire cast. But yes, Hikari is the only safe one right now and the only hope for possible yuri subtext (if there'll be any).

Uh, so far the only one that actually has a serious crush on sensei in demi-chan, aside from satou-sensei, is machi. Hikari doesn't seem to seem him that way and the occasional "flirting" was more some childish attempt to get back at him to make her feel awkward openly talking about sex. Don't really see yukki having a crush on him either. Her reaction to him calling her yukki was more awkward than happily embarassed like macchi and she said herself that she didn't care much about how he was calling her.

As for urara, the whole "marriage" thing feels more like some symbolic title rather than actual wedding, but as always, some people on dynasty seems all too eager to dismiss the yuri. :/

But I would be really tickled if it turns out her "it's just an adolescence thing" explanation was only an excuse, and actually there really is more there. She certainly doesn't seem to have any interest in sensei, she wasn't covering up some sort of interest in biting him, she really seemed uninterested.

In Schoolgirl Strikers ep 5, I'm probably the only one still watch this series anyway. And despite the silly plot, finally we official have something resemble yuri to work on. The tsundere Amane's crush roward Io-san. It was literally spelled out by other characters too.

Not a real suprise since Io is a girl magnet, and the development was as cliche as standard yuri manga/dj can get. But it's still yuri~ish nonetheless.

Despite her popularity, Io is still single, so go for it, Amane-san!!
