It's called a Roman Nose, and it's pretty common in people with North American native, south European, or African ancestry. Yes, it's not your "omg so moe!" tiny nose, and it's not supposed to be. It's more of an "actual real people" design.

Barbara Streisand, Rosemarie Dewitt and Sofia Coppola are good examples of the type.

I find her nose interesting. It doesn't make her prettier, but it matches her personality. It's something different than the perfect nose almost all anime girls have.
My favorite character is Sasha though. This show combines comedy with tragedy pretty well.

I don't have a problem with her nose in and of itself. It reminds me of Tezuka.

The weird thing is having it alongside all of the other characters' more "typical" anime-style noses. It's very conspicuous. If either more characters had Annie's style of nose, or better yet if there were even more than just those two styles of nose spread about the cast it wouldn't be as weird.

There weren't many scenes between them in S1, but it has been confirmed they are canon by the staff. Ymir also acts clingy and jealous towards Krista in AOT highschool anime (forgot the original name)

AOT's most characters are not actually Japanese. They are from various European countries. Because Titans destroyed the lands, and people from around the world gathered in the same area.
Annie looks German to me. Not sure of her actual ethnicity, but she is probably canonically not Japanese.

Attack on Titan is a manga, with a writer-artist that determines the canon. Ymir is a lesbian and that one dude is gay. One of the wall titans. Ymir and Historia are pseudo-canon. Ymir is into her, but they got fucked over by the plot. Then things got weird. No idea if Ymir came back into the picture

Side note: Of course Annie's not Japanese. Mikasa is the only Japanese one, that's why she was almost sold into slavery.

Maybe? Is that the mangaka? I remember them like confessing then going their separate ways. For a really really long time. No idea if they ever met back up.

If that's someone from the anime team, they only summarize the manga, so I wouldn't consider what they say as canon. Even then, I don't see how canon can be established outside the story itself.

I know I phrased it as a question in my previous post, but I am pretty sure it's 100% canon; I always was ever since I saw that announcement, and so were the other people I've seen who know of the pairing.

Side Note: Even if it were just the producer, it's still canon in its own right. Adaptations have their own canon that is separate from the source material since adaptations are meant to stand on their own.
