They look more like a couple in this chapter!
WDFS Ch39 I was waiting for this chapter for a whole week and when it shows up there's another tease in it ._.
Seju is not gonna marry a man, she sooner or later find out that "father" of her is not her real father and all his dying wishes or anything will stay just as a wish which will never be fulfilled. There's 0% Gaji would do something like this.
Halmoni Thank you so much for still translating WDFS, I love your work!
Seju will end up marrying a guy arranged for her. It will be her dad's dying wish. Or it will be a good business move. And she'll fulfill a heterosexual life, kids and all, to continue the family business.
I would rather team Gaji to kill Seju than to give her this ending.
Sure Gaji will do this...if they want to commit manhwa suicide :P

What if that's the plot twist D:
Aww they're both so adorable, and yes they do look and feel more like a couple here! Also, Sumin's no longer holding back haha, checking out Sungji's nape and making a move xD

Didn't they say no arranged marriage? Plus Seju is gay, so they know it would be bad to give her a husband.
You never know with plot twists though.
I was thinking...what if Sungji's story is like the rest of Sumin's lovers stories? I mean Ganji show an example (here is Sungji) of how Sumin's typical relationships evolve before breaking it off and then repeating the same cycle again. (something like a horror movie plot twist lol). But then again this is a healing story too, so I dunno xD
This is the beggining of their relationship, let's see how this will go from now on

You're right, they did mention, sometimes ago, that they will not marry Seju. How could I forgot that.

I don't think it'll be the same as Sumin's previous love stories (after Seju) because most of the girls dated her only for her looks, her money, and sex. None of them ever said that they love her. Sumin would always ask them whether they love her or not, and they won't know what to answer. While Sungji, she can blurt out that she loves Sumin out of the blue and mean it. So i think it'll be different for Sumin this time, in a good way.
What I'm looking forward to is the drama that usually follows after all these sweet and cute moments. This story can't be all wines and roses right? Even if it's a healing-comedy story xD
Seju had the cutest lovey dovey freaking smile ever. It's like they are still a couple but they're not :( I would really want to see them get back together and work things out. As cute as Sumin x Sungji is, I get this strange feeling that Sumin is going to end up cheating on her somehow.

Sumin/Seju's relationship fell apart pretty much bc of the cheating. so I dont I think Sumin would want to go down near that road again. If she cheated on Sungji even with Seju, then Sumin'd be no good of a person/lover.

Agreed. This is supposed to be a healing story. And I don' think we have that many chapters left.

To be honest I'm not sure if I completely trust Sumin at this. She seems like she's hiding a lot of things from Sungji, and also she seems easily influenced, especially when she's drunk.
One thing that I can say is highly probable, is that Sumin and Seju both have to move on from what happened in the past. Not just Sumin.
So far we see Sungji for Sumin, but how this will affect Seju too? I don't think if Sumin simply cuts all contact with her will stop Seju from pursuing her, or at least suffer in silence.
I think Sumin has to forgive her in the end at least. How this will happen could be the plot twist.

Sumin might later doubt her relationship with Sungji or something, but I don't think she will cheat on Sungji. Break things off with her, it's possible, but cheating on her, I don't think so. Besides, this is supposed to be a healing-comedy story, and we only have like 40 something chapters left

u mean sumin might sleep with Seju while she's drunk? i
If that happened, her relationship with sungji would end there. Seju/sumin can be together. then this wouldnt be a healing comedy.

Ofc, they both need heavy therapy sections :)

Sumin is Seju's family. I dont think she would ever walk away fr Seju. I think in the end Seju will realise her romantic relationship with sumin ended long ago.
I think Sumin has to forgive her in the end at least. How this will happen could be the plot twist.
I dont think there is anything to forgive at this point. Seju just need to find her own hapiness and dont just rely on Sumin.

Their relationship fell apart for many reasons. The way I see it, they were both at fault. Seju cheated and she regrets it. Despite the shit Sumin pulled to get back at her, why Seju continues to stick around is beyond me. It's sad really how Seju still loves Sumin T.T Anyway, whose to judge and say that cheating or being reckless makes you a bad person? That's total bullshit, no offense haha.
Great chapter. Looking forward to the next instalment. Those two are just the cutest!

Direct, no-nonsense, and short-tempered, but occasionally the damsel - her team manager Sumin...Alluring artwork and a shocking plot twist!" -> according to the information under the tittle in Lezhin. Shudder

dont u agree the cheating created the big crack? Imagine you r on the edge of a cliff trying to reach out to your lover hoping they can help you fr falling off. Then u found out u got no one. The only person u can rely on has betrayed u. I'd have nothing to say if u said u would take back your lover with an open arms. I did not say Sumin is fault-free in this messed up relationship. She shouldnt have gone back to Seju. Seju has been a fool. She should have moved on then.
Now moving on to good/bad person. It was my opinon. We all live by different values/principles. Being reckless & being a cheater are not the same. I dont think Seju is a bad person. Her cheating was a mistake. If someone cheating on their mate repeatedly then yeah I say that person is a bad person. Where r the moral values? If u cannot stay faithful then dont enter into an exclusive relationship.
DAMN IT !!!!! why do they always end it at the best part ;.;

Ah, thanks. A shocking plot twist is kind of daunting...
They look so sexy... I can't.
Regarding your posts, here is what I think about some questions still not answered. Tell me if you agree with me.
First, I think the real father of Seju is the "8/10" man. Seju's mom had an affair with him. He seems to be the same that came to visit Seju (same mole) in the name of her actual father.
He cares about her even it's in a psycho way. He even gave her her name. Strange.
He shut his mouth when the family says Seju's mother was a whore.
It could explain why Seju's father doesn't come to see her and doesn't seem to involve himself because he knows.
It might come out if he dies as his health seems to be weak.
Then, the glasses girl seems to be very threatening.
It's obvious she took photos of Sumin x Sunji. She just noticed a strange atmosphere before.
But she told Choigun though they were in a relationship. How could she know? The author gives us hints of the bad outcomes if somebody knows in the office. It's not only because of the past of Sumin.
I think she will spread the information because she's jealous, frustrated that Choigun doesn't look at her.
When it will happen, we will have a flashback of when it happens in the past for Sumin and how she dealt with it.
I think Sunji's parents are dead. She never talked about them. We never saw them.
She lives with her brother and sister in law. We saw her friends...
When she was young, her brother was the one who consolated her when she was sad about her schoolmates.
Furthermore, she seemed to know what to tell and to manage when Sumin talked about the death of her own parents.
Sunji seems to be immature but she's not. She's just innocent and pure but smart.
Some people assume that when you're too sensitive you're weak. It's not true.
On the contrary, you're stronger than others because you are hurt quite often and you keep moving forward.
She shut her mouth but she understands Sumin a lot, she even knows what's in her mind because she's very caring.
She's full of surprises and not an empty shell. In my mind, even if she's younger than Sumin, she's the one who will teach her a lot of things. She's not bitter (by the way she doesn't like bitter things) of anything and she faces what she lives trying to keep smiling.
Then, I think Sumin loves her from the beginning. It was love at first sight too. Remember the scene of the cherry blossoms. "Badump, badump". She kept asking herself what was this feeling. Nami feels it too by speaking with Sumin "it's not like you will give her your heart" and telling Seju it was a risky date. She used to be lonely. It's moving for her. She doesn't know what to do when good things happen to her. She was jealous as well from the beginning.
You are not this much confused and scared if you don't feel anything. She just not realized it yet or not live with it.
Sunji is a good thing for her. She starts smiling again. You don't try to be better if you don't love the person.
She stops smoking, drinking. She's faithful. She seems happier. It's part of the thing.
And you're not afraid of loosing somebody if you don't love them.
She cares for Sunji and she's trying to avoid her pain. If it's not love I don't know what it is.
But I agree something is missing between both of them. It's not the sex thing or maybe how it will happen will be the trigger. They say they like each other, even Sunji says she loves Sumin but they didn't show it really. We don't really see complicity.
Maybe because they were not confronted to real difficulties yet. Maybe the coming out of their relationship at work will do it.
Sumin is holding back because she knows what will happen when she will stop doing it. When she will open herself we will find what is missing. But strangely Sunji knows more about her than Sumin. I mean, the heart.
Sumin is ashamed of her past, that's why I think she's not ready yet to talk about it with Sunji.
First because she doesn't want Sunji to be splashed by that and then because she's afraid Sunji will see her in a different way and reject her.
Now she trusts Sunji so I think it will happen soon. She's more and more sweet with her.
There is not so much gap between them. They first experience a true relationship. It's a first for Sumin too.
The problem is that it seems to be hard for her to accept to let go memories with Seju. When she's with Seju she thinks about Sunji and when she's with Sunji she thinks about memories with Seju. Not the Seju of today, memories. She's a spectator of her life, always chased by her memories.
Since she began with Sunji she barely spoke with Seju and became actress of her life.
It's a healing story it's said. We heal by receiving/giving love, forgiveness and understanding... So...
I have a lot more to say but it will be in another post. Why Seju hires Sunji... Nami and Seju...
Seju and Sumin... The third wish (I think Sunji will surpass herself)...
Regarding Seju's father... one of her brothers/sister in law(?) said to do a DNA test and someone answered "Already did" in the chapter where they were all sitting on a table. So I think this is her real father, but maybe that mole guy slept with her mother in the past.
About Sungji, I think you are right in most you've said. Her parents are probably dead, maybe the authors will give the explanation why is so understanding with Sumin in her arc. Probably she had dealt with grief in her past and knows how Sumin feels, and is more patient I guess. We'll see.
Like you said they haven't face any major difficulties in their relationship yet for their bond to be strengthen. I guess they will and we'll see how things will develop from then on.
I still do wonder though if the fact that Seju hired her was just a coincidensce or not.
I just hope that they don't give Nami for Seju in the end though. She doesn't seem to like her, and if suddenly she starts liking her it will feel plot forced, only to give someone to Seju now that Sumin has found love again.
