This is a sweet but tragic story of a time when women were not considered sentient or as human beings ! But, these two stayed true to each other for their lives and ever after in a land where they could always be together in another life!

I... I understand why Suzuka ojou-sama choose not to fight. Besides the "I would nuke their family if anyone dares meddling with this" threats, the whole plot, Suzuka's freedom is quickly diminished (first educational rights, then any books, then even banned from going outside), this can feel like one being strangled, gradually losing every bit of power to determine anything, so is the will to fight back (Simply put, in a state of mental fatigue).

But damn, I so wish they could fight back, raise hell if needed to, even if it failed at the end and they're both punished. I mean, I don't want them to be punished, but... to just give up? The ending left a bitter taste in my mouth.
