For those who haven't heard, season 2 of Carmilla, everyone's favourite web series about lesbian vampires living in what is essentially Night Vale: The College has begun !

First two episodes are great, full of blood and snark and flirting, just the way we like it. Have fun!

That reminds me that I still have to watch the first season. Any idea how long it runs so I can just marothon the two seasons together?

36 episodes, 2-7 minutes each.
It's pretty decent by normal standards, really good for a web series but I'd still recommend the book over it.

Season two just started, it's only two episodes (about 11 minutes) so far, updates tuesdays and thursdays.

All of season one took me about 3 hours to get through, with room for a few quick breaks. Actual runtime is probably just under 2 and a half hours. You should do it. And then enjoy suffering through tiny updates for s2. Do it. Because holy [redacted], I can say with certainty I've never paid so much attention to longing glances and casual touching in pretty much anything ever.

Pretty interested in the novel, but I'm a really lazy reader these days...

It's a novella. Reading it might even take less time than watching the adaption.
Oh and if you can wait for scanlations, then the wait for Carmilla is nothing.

Just finished all the episodes and it was really fun. Really looking forward to more now, especially since the second season is propably gonna feature like 827% more flirting.

Can't say I'm opposed to LaFontaine x J.P but I'm still hoping for LaFontaine x Perry, which I guess is going to happen, judging by what the actress said.
Also, LaFontaine is the real hero.

I actually watched first season as it aired....it was kind of torturous towards the end, so I'm just going to wait until Season 2 finishes first....

That being said, I think I'm literally the only person that doesn't like LaFontaine. Like, at all. I couldn't understand how they built such a huge fanbase.

I did love S1 tho...the last episode was a bit more anti-climatic than I was hoping for, but it was still cute. I really liked the Christmas Special tho. It was refreshing to have a change of scenery.

Dude, LaFontaine is awesome. You really didn't see them at their best in S1 what with the possession and all.

Haha, while I can't deny that that was pretty interesting, I think my dislike of them stems from their kinda awkward/geeky personality. Maybe it's 'cause I'm socially clueless half the time that I subconsciously can't like people that seem to symbolize that (via social media). Idk. I can't properly explain. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

So haven't watched Season 2 yet (even if it finished) cause apparently it ends on a big cliffhanger, but there will be a Season Zero that I think airs in 11 days(?) Also Laura and Carmilla broke up at some point? What?
