i think that's a very sour way of viewing this manga. it's not like it's her fault her parents are like that, and it's very clear she wants to move beyond just what her parents wanted for her. i don't think she has the power you think she has here...

Pretty sure she was kidnapped, guy. An arranged marriage situation involving a four-letter word is certainly possible, but if so she's not enjoying any of it. I prefer to imagine this not happening though, because the ending is depressingly dark enough as it is.

Mofos out here really fantasizing about a woman getting raped in an arranged marriage situation he dreamed up cuz he's upset her strict homophobic parents took her away from her GF and she didn't stand up to them

She was literally groomed to be dependent and compliant with them.

Her parents took away her autonomy by using their influence as her parents to determine her whole life for her, isolated her from anyone who could've taught her to do what makes her happy, even when living away from them they paid for all her expenses so she's never actually truly independent.

No shit a person raised from birth to follow a specific path with a clear future would be terrified of the unknown and unable to stand by their decision to follow a rockier path. Her parents 100000% talked her out of it

Notice how the parents swooped in when the protag wasn't around? Ofc they were able to push their daughter and bend her to their will when that's what they raised her to be. They groomed her to be compliant and obedient.

Because of her parents, she missed out on an important period of her life in which she could actually grow up and become an independent adult.

Her parents prolly hit her with the "we did so much for you and this is how you repay us?" Shit where they act as if obedience is required and that going against them means the child is ungrateful. Only a specific kind of person can be like "I don't give a fuck my life is my own I live for me bitch", especially when they don't have support from anyone in the room.

The inability to understand that either stems from a person never having to deal with strict parents or they're just born to be more resilient than others. Like, good for you, you had good parents or were just born to be more resilient, not everyone is like that obviously. Doesn't mean they deserve to be raped

You can say that this outcome is one deserved without going as far as saying the lady should be raped or dehumanizing them.
