^That is not quite fair towards Arcsys. Making a single character in this engine takes immense amounts of ressources and time. They can't possibly release a bigger roaster in that time, which is why they have to make additional characters DLC. That's how all fighting games handle it in recent years.
I think it's still on the companies here, because they made Djeeta DLC most likely due to seeing her as less of a priority. Arcsys just makes the game according to priorities and keeping up the hype over time.
