It's kinda weird that Dynasty is still tagging trans characters, when even Danburo have gone over to just tagging every girl as a girl. So we're being less woke than literal pedophiles.

^Eh, that could go either way. Sure, tagging them just as girls may be "woke", but at the same time, not tagging a trans character as such will not allow someone actually trans to easily find stories or images that might represent their experience.

Except, danbooru doesn't have any trans tag, at all (unless you count the flag). And NO, the crossdressing tag doesn't count. Unlike here in DynastyScans where we do have that tag and I think we should use it wherever it applies.

To my understanding, the reason why Danbooru doesn't have a "transgender" tag (well, it used to, but as an alias for "genderswap", before this was done away with) is most probably because their tags are strictly visually-based, i.e. tags refer to what is clearly seen in an image, and practically never concern themselves with the narrative or characters' background information.
Compare that to Dynasty Scans' tags, which cover both the visual and the narrative aspects.
EDIT: For the record, Danbooru seems to lump transsexuals (whether pre-op or post-op) under the "genderswap" tags, as evidenced by this post, which corresponds to the first page of this comic on DS (tagged "transgender").
