I was kinda put off the setting but im tempted to get it now I know it has yuri options :)

But the game is like a group of friends & schoolmates who all have to end up going to war on different sides and killing each other for 'reasons' right? Sounds rather depressing..? I dont enjoy killing characters I like.

@elevown You can avoid killing characters that you like by inviting them to join your class before the first part of the story is over and the conflict starts, with a few exceptions.

@juanelric Depends on how loose your definition of couple is. While no one is ever directly stated to marry their partner, there are just some supports/endings that are basically all but saying that the two girls ended up together (dorothea/petra [you could honestly assume they married in this one], dorothea/manuela, shamir/catherine to a lesser extent). Others still highlight the very strong bond between the two girls (mercedes/annette, edelgard/lysithea) and others have very open ended endings so you can use your goggles. Like, Leonie/Shamir is pretty unromantic from the supports/ending, but they do spend the rest of their lives together so you can make up some headcanon.
