It was a really moving chapter tbh, seeing her work do hard and being hit by the reality of things, that she's not quite there yet. It wasn't about the competition or about being on the cover at all.
She hung up her work as a milestone perhaps, the first of many more. Even if it wasn't meant to be published, it's her first illustration.
Really enjoyed it tbh, seeing her growth as an artist, as a character, her efforts and her ambitions.

Been reading akuma no riddle back and kept remembering this manga but couldn't find it.
Our main (I think) characters names were shinya and mahiru as a reference to akuma no riddle, I don't remember anything else, sorry. :/

Idk if they were specifically references to AnR (since the names' meanings are like opposites) but the characters for the second arc of vol 6 of AnoKiss have the same online usernames

Hm well about the titles, if looking up the TL'd title doesn't get you anywhere, one thing i would do is look up the author on mangaupdates and go through their listed works. For example, Itou Hachi. The page for the series lists the 'associated names' too, so chances are you'll find the TL'd title (official or not), the romanisation and the original title.

There was this manga, not sure if yuri ( though that is the only type of manga i read, so it must be). It was about a girl who liked to please everyone, so she wrote down things about then ( like what they like and whatnot) on pieces of paper as notes. And then i think another girl discovers them or something.

I can tell you that the author has specifically stated that he doesn't personally like when yuri series go overtly lesbian.

He does start toeing the line at points, but he'll probably never go beyond it.

No, the absence of those tags is appropriate imo. It was a kinda morbid (but taken somewhat lightly) conversation between them, it's not like anything really happened. It was alarming/disturbing at best, with how casual it was

Not that it was bad even if it had been a rip off. Its only real issue was that it was a bit on the short side, though it did conclude things reasonably well.

As someone else already posted this is only part of the chapter and they listed a link for the full thing. Sounds like the translator was only given these 4 pages and not told there was a full chapter worth of material.
