I usually find the people complaining about those bothered by a story more annoying than those who are bothered by a story but hey, if you wanna use the "Gay Makes Everything Okay" mantra, go for it I guess.

Just try not to bring it up all the time please, it does get tiring

Too late for that, pal. :)

Good that they talked about the nail polish.
A lot of readers had been mentioning it: piercings aren't a big deal, but the polish? Gotta be hella hard putting it on and removing it every single day!

This is great, both the writing and the art. There are few manhua where the author makes such a huge creative effort.

Haha, I was thinking exactly that. The thing with the eye colors (and speech balloon colors) is a dead giveaway that the author has read Swap⇔Swap and loved the body swap idea.

And just like Swap⇔Swap this manhua is just fun fluff with no pretension to weighty content whatsoever! I kept laughing at how the author glosses over every serious issue that could bog down the easy flow of the story.

If you want exhaustive explanations about how the body swap works...

... or how come everybody everywhere isn't using such a cool trick, since it's on the net and free for all to see...

... or how can Ruanruan be so carefree when such a big deal happens like her ex from 5 years ago turning up at her door with crazy demands...

... you're out of luck, it's just not this author's style.

They should be talking about it on all the tv shows: "Now trending: the game of swapping bodies, viralized across the social networks, has become incredibly popular and everyone is doing it!" Don't tell me Ruanruan is the only person in the world who read those instructions!?!?!?

Oh right...... it's just a manhua; I should really just relax.

For those who can't wait for more, remember that this manga has already been translated up to chapter 20 in Spanish.

And honestly its kind of sad it was all bc a misunderstanding

I mean. Usually "misunderstanding" is a byword for "gratuitous drama (totes not filler you guys)" in this kinda genre; I'd say "everything went better than expected" accidental wholesomeness is welcome variety.

You tell 'em.
After many years of reading romcoms, "it was all a misunderstanding" is getting very close to "it was all a dream" in my book: right there at the top of the list of tired old tropes that grate on the audience and make you want to kick the author. Any variation that brings originality to the conventional approach is a breath of fresh air.

"All seduction is based on deception."
In the words of Sun Tzu, or his playboy cousin, I don't remember anymore.

The "GAP" franchise from Thailand (which includes a light novel series and a manga/manhua/whatever the word for Thai comics is) will be taken to television. They are already filming, and trailers have been released. These two are in Youtube:

Mini Teaser (Cutie version) for GAP The Series
Mini Teaser (Savage version) for GAP The Series

The "cutie" one is pure and innocent in Chinese style. The "savage" one is full of hot kisses and erotic scenes .

If you search Youtube you'll find many other videos, including interviews with the actresses who play the two main characters—Freen and Becky—and fan works shipping them. (No, not the characters, the actresses. Shippers be shippers.)

The novels and the comic are being translated to Spanish and Portuguese; I couldn't find them in English. I'll give you some links:

Comic in Portuguese: https://ichirinnohanayuriscan.com/manga/gap-pink-theory/capitulo-01/

This is Khun Sam, aka Chief Mhom L, aka the company's high and mighty CEO who'll have a yuri romance with one of her little employees. A great many readers are going "She's my new sexuality!!!" at first sight.

Live action yuri from Asia seems to have become a bit more common recently. I watched Couple of Mirrors last week and it was pretty good... pity that they have to respect the codes of Chinese TV and they never show the main couple kissing or doing anything erotic. Even their bed scenes are chaste and sisterly. You have to read the manhua to behold those moments of lesbian pda between them.

I love this manga. The way the author conducts the flow of time, the way the narrative pace enfolds the inner monologue of the mc are so nice.

That's like Aoto Hibiki's signature move, isn't it?

Leer:

In theory. XD

In reality, it's more like:

"Mai? Mai who?"

Oh for a second I was worried this would turn into some drama that'll drag for couple of chapters. I'm glad that got resolved pretty quickly.

It's tsukkomi power. Hana's tsukkomi heart has a steel core of dauntless bravery. No matter how embarrassing or hurtful the situation is, if she faces a barefaced boke, Hana's tsukkomi heart never backs down: she musters her resolve, grits her teeth and delivers the proper line to SET THINGS STRAIGHT!

Admittedly, "straight" isn't the best choice of word here... but "tsukkomi" is "straight man" in English, and I'm sure everyone's got the point.

And indeed there's no denying the genre.

I'd say. Sato-san, when she first met Aoyama, was sunken in dark depression because, I quote, "her favorite yuri manga had just been axed."

Then she saw Aoyama, it was love at first sight and the depression went flying out of the window.

Too bad she doesn't have someone with whom to throw the suit away together.
