@FluffyCow no one is saying there's not multiple kinds of love in life. People are just saying they don't think that's the case with this manga. To state otherwise is just your opinion, because at the end of the day that's all these are. None of us knows the author's intent here and I'll gladly take back my words if their relationship ever becomes serious outside of friends that the author thinks it's hot for them to kiss. It's not like this is the first time manga/anime teased yuri in a het series when they never had any plans to go that way. Cross Ange is a prime example of that.

@Arc_Omega_6 if it's actually serious why doesn't the author tease the girls with a guy? It's because yuri isn't seen as something serious to them. It's mostly "lol look at the girls kissing while their man watches/is away". Do you really think an author that wrote a manga where a guy It's 100 women cares about bi characters? Again the art is funny but the manga doesn't take their relationship seriously

@eromancer i think the art is funny but I hate that people are trying to turn a fanservice gag into some revolutionary yuri/bi thing. It's just a gag. It's like the writer wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He adds a bit of gag lesbian scenes in his het series to get yuri fans hope when he knows it'll never be anything. At the same time he does this because he doesn't take yuri seriously. The girls can kiss because at the end of the day it's hot for the readers and many of them won't take it seriously. It's why he wouldn't do this same thing with one of the girls and a male classmate. Readers would take that seriously.

Nanase was initially distant, cuz she didn’t wanna be open about their relationship and she prioritized her club over their relationship (which Yuni literally never said anything about)

Yuni cheated on Nanase to make it to her game… when she could’ve just communicated from the start, “hey I can’t make it to your game”

Nanase being more chill with Yuki makes sense. They’re childhood friends, they’ve known each other for wayyy longer, and unlike Yuni, Yuki isn’t a jerk who blows up at people without properly communicating nor gets jealous while actively cheating on an unsuspecting person

Nanase’s only fault is being inexperienced with dating (not setting proper boundaries, not knowing what she wants, not being able to balance a relationship with club stuff)

Yuni cheated first, then cheated again and is getting mad at Nanase for…. Being close with her childhood friend?? Like, Nanase literally HAS been showing interest, wanting to match and stuff— Yuni has given up on ‘them’ and I’m sure Nanase has too given how she clearly hasn’t enjoyed being with Yuni for a while. They are very clearly, not compatible, there’s also no trust left, I seriously can not comprehend why Nanase would stay with Yuni… like does she even love her anymore?? Was she ever even in love to begin with?

Nanase imo is the weakest character in the manga. She seems to exist just to give Yuni a reason to cheat. She's the only character that's shown no reason for loving someone else. She's the only character that never takes any action. Yuki has done more for her relationship in regard to the cheating than Nanase herself. She just comes across as such a bland character. You can't feel bad for her because you never feel like she ever tries to really be with Yuni. This chapter is the perfect example. Instead of talking to Yuni she runs away and decides to hang out with someone else. She's the dumb lover in an ntr story that's so pathetic you can't feel bad that their lover is cheating. Maybe if the author show3d Nanase being more proactive i would've cared a bit more.

Why does this author only write unlikeable characters that have no redeeming qualities? The issue with doing that is the ending always acts like it's romantic and ok to be this messed up. Sure people can be crazy and toxic in real life but fiction shouldn't glorify it. Imagine someone that was assaulted reads this. Their biggest take away is if you get assaulted and tell your lover they'll just see you as a cheater. This story feels toxic just for the sake of it.

That would go against the premise of the manga.

Nanase is tye a coward. She seems like the type the doesn't like fighting for things. She is probably only dating Yuni because she was asked out more than actually loving her. Everytime something serious about their relationship comes up she either leaves or pushes Yuni away. This was her chance to prove she's a good gf, and still she decided to just walk away from the infirmary.

Ngl I prefer Stelle with Firefly more.

@juanelric no I think the problem is very much you. To say "x character should be darker" is a very racist mindset. You're judging a character not by their culture but by how dark their skin is. By that mindset it's wrong to be a light skin person of character.

Also didn't you say you stopped playing? Why go around complaining about a game you don't even play? To ruin it for the actual fans?

Also it's very telling how now skin color and representation matter. I don't recall you ever complaining when all the Asian characters looked white. Or to you representation only matters when your skin is darker?

It was nice, but felt kind of like...wasted potential? The previous chapters seemed to hint the hero was hiding something, the witch has her background with the other nation, the maid's amnesia is barely touched upon...all these potential plotlines went nowhere in the end.

Even weirder was how easily they all gave up. The priestess felt like she was growing feelings for the demon king. The witch felt like she was just there most of the time. The biggest issue was you could remove most of the ladies and the story would be the same. On top of that since we didn't get solo moments with each girl with the demon I never felt like any of them really loved her, and the same goes with her loving any of them.
