The best way to experience Genshin , by not playing the game and enjoy everything else about it

^As someone who plays gacha games I'd say that's kind of the general vibe with gacha games tbh lol

@Ironhide it's getting so tiring seeing nothing but hate when looking at a Genshin fanart. If you've got nothing nice to say just say nothing and move on.

^I don't really see that as hate, gacha games are a lot to keep up on gameplay wise, updates, dailies / login, so fourth. Rolling is stressful, lots of stuff. To me just enjoying the content outside of playing the game isn't a bad way to go.

^What's stressful about rolling? You just roll and then get what you're rolling for, or you don't and get out the credit card. Simple. :P

^It's about the time you spend playing to collect things to get what you want, putting effort and not getting what you want rolling after all the time is stressful. This is the only choice of a player who wants to play a gacha game and not use any money at all.

I suppose it boils down to one's expectations; if you keep them low, you'll never be disappointed taps head

@DrJamesFox I personally think gacha is a predatory monetization tactic, like microtransactions, battle passes and lootboxes
I do play some games that are gacha, but I'd rather see the model outlawed

Genshin is still in the "too big to fail in the forseeable future" stage but it's been out so long it's probably easier to find someone IRL who burned out on it than someone who still plays every day. It happened to me after 2.5 years.
That's just how it is with a lot of live-service games in general, no matter how big they get. They leave a big trail of people who don't play it anymore.

Back in my day, putting a " :P " with your comment showed you were joking. Maybe times have changed? There's no need to give my tongue-in-cheek comment a serious response.

^I've noticed sometimes people aren't picking up on you being cheeky, I think that's probably in part due to the lack of tone with text lol
Also yeah with all gacha it's a stressful grind to work for the character you want and everything. Gacha games tend to be massive time investments and they can be frustrating in various ways. I played Genshin twice, and now I'm just enjoying things from the outside.

^I'm curious, how does one "play Genshin twice"?

^I installed it around launch, played it for a good while until burnt out and uninstalled it, then sometime later I reinstalled it and played it until burn out again. So now I just kick back and enjoy content from the outside without worry of keeping up, I don't think I'll return to play it for a third time despite some character banners being very tempting haha

^If Jeht became fully playable I'd play just enough to get her
Though if I didn't get her in my first 10-roll I'd stop right there anyway.

@DrJamesFox A bit late but my sibling isn't a native English speaker so they weren't trying to be rude and just had a little trouble telling that it was a joke ^^'
