Gotta say, the presence of the sister felt quite uncomfortable all around. I'm not really sure what's going on there with the happy-go-lucky attitude and suddenly coming with spiteful outbursts.

As someone mentions above, it was probably a way to show that she has nothing to hide, as well as seeing how Aya (and herself) would react. Aya, as we could see, was pretty unfazed about the ordeal, while Haruki could barely keep it together.

Definitely not what I'd pick out to be the most fucked scene about this manga.

Well they’ve never been the most emotionally stable couple. But seriously this was a very real chapter for me, some people might be reassuring but to others it’s the most frustrating thing in the world when someone else tries to decide what’s best for you. If someone tells you they like you or they’re happy don’t try to make like it’s not true.

Have you ever had that one friend or been that depressive person saying things like “No one likes me”, “You’re just saying that.” and legitimately wanted to slap them because you know it’s not true and no matter how much you try and tell them you love them or anything reassuring they just don’t accept it. There’s only so many times you can say the same thing and not get annoyed.

That’s what I saw in the chapter, no matter how happy Iori is, or says she is, Minami keeps thinking she’s not enough or that Iori could be happier, and that hurts. Almost like Minami is rejecting their relationship. It’s peak self sabotage/self loathing and I’ve been on both sides of that. Psychoanalysis over.

I haven't doubted anyone's affection for me, but I am prone to depressions and neglecting myself. I understand why my bf would get angry at me for it, but even then it's rare and there'd never be any actual violence involved.

I think in this case it irks me even more because we're talking about someone who's already had a past with being mistreated, and it feels very wrong for someone who loves her and is meant to treat her right to beat her in any way, even if it's an understandable sentiment. A slap, maybe, but she seemed to get more than just that.

This mangaka knows how to do good people? all of them are bad. Selfish, pedophiles, traitors, no respect and sympathy towards others whatsoever. I like a manga that knows how to portrait reality, but good god man, if i wanted to see bad people doing stupid things i'd just get out of my house and be social(Not now though, be safe guys).

I think you're viewing it a bit too harshly. This is a messy drama story, I don't think it necessarily tries to go for authentic realism, but I wouldn't say most of the cast is that bad.

That really is the most common interpretation of the law, though. The underage limit basically says they are too young to make informed decisions about such topics, in a practical sense this isn't necessarily true, but it would be in a legal sense

There are practical problems with incest too, though, even if they are both at a consensual age. But for the most part, it's only judged with "ew, that's kinda gross", which isn't a fantastic argument at any rate.

I like that the first tree chapters each were from a different character's perspective, I wonder where the next chapter will take it.

It's a nice read and all, but I do agree with the point of the story already having a pretty high bar to suspension of disbelief; with the three main girls I can buy it I suppose but Rin's two best friends on the other hand... that seemed pretty out of place. Not only have all the friends constantly talked about boys like the most natural thing in the world, but... how was there even anything indicative of Chiyono being into Rin? It seemed completely random. Shiho at least is somewhat justified in jealousy, although it doesn't have to be romantic at all. Being separated from your two best friends just sucks regardless.

Also... "you should just try dating him" does not seem like the healthiest of attitudes to have, but that's just a minor pet peeve

Does anyone think that the classmate of Akira is also in love with her? Like... "hey...I'm curious about that tree, let's check it out TOGETHER O_O" I mean, maybe not but I can't help but think she could play a bigger part later.
