In my pursuit of the hidden arts I have perused many great and ancient tomes, revealing to me the secrets of the patlācheh. The Babylonaica speaking of Mesopotamia and Berenice, the reports of the mesollelots at the White Monastery of Abba Shenouda, but most importantly the enigmatic writings of Hind bint al-Nuʿmān, who, a millennium after the works of the Sage of Eresos and Mytilene, noted the universal hermetic truth:
