I've been sitting around for a while. I cant seem to find the words to describe how I feel just right.
There are a hundred things I could say about the story already, and I'm sure I'll come to find more in the future.
It's the little details that struck me the most. I was repeatedly drawn to the IV line in her wrist. I'm familiar with the experience of being hospitalized and hooked up like that myself, so I was really touched. In my experience, that area is one of the worse places you can have the IV in. When she used the ribbon to cover it up I cried. They don't even mention it directly, but that's one of the most impactful parts to me. It's like Shizuku is always there protecting her in that ribbon, like kissing a scar.
A wonderful romance, really unlike a lot I've read. I cried so much. Already excited to reread it someday...
Ahh, that's all I can seem to express in words right now... I might write a longer comment on what I think on a later date.
